教学过程

Step 1. Pre-story

1. Warming-up.(略)

2. Free talk.

Step 2. While-story

1. Read the picture and predict.(读图预测故事内容)

T: In today’s story, there is a can beside the river. He is sad. What happens to the can?Guess!

2. Watch and answer: What happens to the can?(整体感知故事内容)

S:...

T: The can is sad. He wants to go home. Does he go home in the end?

SS: Yes.

3. Draw the route about the can’s way home.

T: Now, let’s draw the route about the can’s way home.You can draw it in your book, too.

4. Read and find out: On the can’s way home, whom does he meet? Who helps him?(出示故事其他角色,并板贴)

设计意图:本阶段活动旨在帮助学生在真实的故事情境中理解故事内容。学生通过读图、观看视频、画路线图、找其他故事角色,整体感知故事大意。

5. Detailed reading: Read P1~P2 and answer: What does the can say? What does the bird say? What does the bear do?Should the bear kick the can?

设计意图:在细读P1~P2 文本中,借助肢体演示帮助学生理解busy, kicks 的意思;带学生做动作练习,引导学生看图说出oh,no!创设批判性问题“Should the bear kick the can? ”学生运用生活经验判断应不应该这样做,表明自己该有的立场。

6. Show the position of the can in P3~P4.

T: The bear kicks the can.The can flies. Where is the can now?(引导学生描述can 的位置变化,理解学习over,between,并用目标语描述)

7. Listen and answer. Do they help him? Why?

S: Monkey and Rabbit are late for school. They don’t help the can.

T: What about the two fish?

S: ...

设计意图:通过进一步阅读can 的位置变化,深入思考文本内容,学习和运用目标语言,理解学习can 的回家之路。

8. Read P5 together.

T: Mr Fish and Mrs Fish give it to Zoom. Zoom catches the can and helps the can, and Zip... 引导学生看Zip 给Zoom 竖起大拇指。

T: Yes, they work together...

T: Is the can sad now? How does it feel? Home, sweet home...

呈现“East or west, home is best.”

Reading tip: You should read happily and quietly.

设计意图:结合文本图片的情境和所学内容,引导学生体会故事中各个角色的思维。同时,引导学生通过思考学会帮助他人,理解家的含义。

Step 3. Post-story

1. Choose a title for the story.

A. The poor can

B. The sad can

C. Can’s way home...

2. Listen and imitate.

3. Fill in the blanks and role play.

设计意图:学生跟读、分角色朗读,进一步理解故事内容,体验can 回到家中的愉悦心情,内化语言,为语言输出奠定基础。

4. Discussion.

T: After reading the story,who’s your favourite character in the story? Why? If you meet the can, what will you do?

T: Why is the can here?

通过讨论,得出以下结论:Don’t throw the trash on the ground. Garbage classification.Reusing things.

设计意图:学生针对故事中的人物、情节展开讨论,大胆想象,积极思维,独立、创造性地解决问题,发展综合语言运用能力。
