Abstract:Based on the actual information of rainstorm and flood in the Gutian River Basin in June 2017, the accuracy of global forecasting system(GFS) rainfall forecast was analyzed from the inspection of meteorological quality and relative error of forecasting during flood season. The flood forecast based on GFS rainfall forecast was carried out. The results show that the forecast accuracy and forecast period of flood are obviously improved combined with GFS rainfall forecast compared with that of uncombined GFS.

Abstract:Based on the simplicity, convenience and powerful data processing function on vibration signal of the matlab language program, the time-domain analysis is performed on detected rolling bearing vibration signal. In the frequency domain and cepstrum analysis, an energy eigenvalue is used. The signal data is processed, and the trend curves of various eigenvalue parameters are obtained, so that the data of the rolling bearing can be more intuitively monitored and analyzed, and the life prediction can be performed.

Abstract:Coarse powder separator is an important device of a pulverizing system in a coal-fired power plant. The merits and drawbacks of the available radial and axial coarse powder separator are studied and analyzed. A new coarse powder separator is proposed. The new coarse powder separator makes the best of its effective space and introducesa centrifugal separating module creatively which eliminates bumping separation, enhances centrifugal separation, and solves the wear of inner cone and particles accumulation. The results of demonstration show that output of pulverizing system, separation efficiency and uniformity of pulverized coal are greatly increased, and the pressure drop of the separator, fineness of the pulverized coal, cycle ratio and power consumption of the primary fan are significantly reduced. Soft material blockage isalmost solved as well.

Abstract:With the rapid development of industrial robot technology in China,industrial robots have been widely used in many fields. In the fuel intelligentization of thermal power generation industry, the feasibility, design and precautions of industrial robot technology in coal automated sampling and analysis system are mainly discussed. A new intelligent sampling system which can realize sample preparation, sample packaging, code recognition and moisture detection by utilizing general industrial robot technology is proposed. The robotic sampling system can be applied to the coal intelligent sampling system, and can also be used alone in the coal sampling room, so that the preparation, detection and other processes of the coal sampling can be intelligent, unmanned, standardized and dust-free.

Abstract:In order to meet the construction requirements of intelligent substation,considering the characteristic and using habit of secondary device in prefabricated cabin, it proposes a new structural form of secondary device called ‘foreside wiring and foreside display’. It makes secondary device’s installing, wiring and operating in front of panel realizable. Using this in cabin, the space of prefabricated cabin can be maximize, the floor space of intelligent substation can be reduced. In that case, this form could impel the miniaturization of intelligent substation.

Abstract:There is a thick layer of silt and silty clay in the shallow subgrade of a coal-fired power plant in Vietnam. A large amount of sand-blowing backfilling work is required. According to the measurement method provided by the construction contract, there is disparity between the total amount of work measured the contractor and subcontractor. Through analysis, it is determined that the measurement method, measuring point arrangement and calculation method are the main factors affecting the measurement accuracy. The measures such as rationally arranging the ground subsidence observation symbol, improving the observation method, improving the measuring point arrangement and the standardizing calculation method are proposed. The accuracy of work amount measurement is effectively improved, the disputes on measurement are resolved, the interests of both parties are protected, and the project is smoothly implemented.

Abstract:With the prevalence of ultra-low emission reformon flue gas, the integration of induced draft fan (IDF) and boost fan (BF) in the power plant is commonly applied in power stations. Based on the DL/T 5240—2010 Technical Code for Design and Calculation of Combustion System of Fossil-fried Power Plant, a safety assessment on the boiler furnace and flue gas system of a 330 MW unit was carried out. It was found that the possibility of internal explosion of boiler furnace and flue gas system caused by high-pressure large-flow IDF was increased. It is suggested that by optimizing the design and selection of the IDF, optimizing the resistance of the flue gas system and improving the pressure protection system of thermal control, the probability of internal explosion of boiler furnace and flue gas system could be reduced.

Abstract:Based on the macro-morphological analysis, chemical composition analysis, metallographic strcture analysis and mechanical property analysis, a tube bursting since high-temperature overheating in a 300 MW subcritical boiler of a power plant is analyzed. It turns out that the tube bursting is due to both long-term over temperature and short-term overheating (tube blocked by foreign matter).

Abstract:In order to reduce the power consumption rate of the auxiliary machine during shutdown of the 6FA gas turbine combined cycle unit in night, and improve the economic performance of the gas turbine units’ running mode which is running by day and stop by night, the shutdown cooling water pump is used to replace the closed cooling water pump during the nightly shutdown. The measure reduced the operating costs of the unit. After the optimization, the nightly power consumption rate of auxiliary mechanical was reduced from the 35.0% to 22.8%, and the cost was reduced by 8 562 yuan per month.

Abstract:In the daily operation of condensing units, high-level dissolved oxygen in condensate water will affect the economy and safety of the unit. In the addressing process onhigh-level dissolved oxygen in condensate water of a power plant, the vacuum tightness, supercooling degree, mechanical sealing of the condensate pump, valve sealing and other aspects are investigated one by one to detect the direct factors affecting this index. Abstract:Most modern large-scale thermal power plants adopt centralized control mode for their operation management. Spot inspection combined with regular maintenance is commonly used in the equipment maintenance management. With the widespread application of energy-efficient centralized cooling/heating systems with water source heat pump in thermal power plants, there is contradiction between existing management method and the operation and maintenance management of complex equipment system. The overall outsourcing operation is put forward as the operation and maintenance method for HVAC system of the thermal power plant. The advantages and disadvantages of this management method are analyzed and the corresponding optimization strategies are proposed. Practice has proved that this management method can ensure the higher reliability and economy of the HVAC system operation.

Abstract:A few days after the operation of a cogeneration steam turbine generator set in a power plant, there was abnormal generator vibration, which would reduce the operation load and affect the safety, stable operation and economic benefits of the units. Through the vibration diagnosis analysis, it was found that the vibration abnormality was caused by the misalignment of rotor and the inadequate contact area of the generator foot gasket. After re-aligning and replacing the gasket of appropriate size, the vibration of the generator set is abated, which would avoid furtherdeterioration of the problem and would effectively ensures the safe operation of the equipment.

Abstract:After ultra-low emission modifications for power plants, chimney anticorrosion and ‘white smoke’ come out due to the cancellation of gas-gas heater (GGH).Most of the power plant will add a low-low temperature flue gas heat exchanger (MGGH).However, for reasons of design, installation and so on, there will be MGGH leakage during operation, which will cause ash accumulation and increase of resistance, short circuit of electrostatic precipitation, dry ash removal system blockage and so on. Abstract:When Huadian Weifang Power Generation Company Limited took part in an anti-wear and explosion-proof inspection on a second-phase power plant boiler, it was found that the low-temperature reheater suffered a serious blowing. Inspection on the heating area was carried out to found out whether the narrow spacing between the soot blower and the tube rows, the installation defect of protecting tile were the key factors causing blowing loss on the heating surface. According to these factors, the optimized installation process of the upper protecting tile, the installation of the “L” shield at the lower part, and reduce the frequency of soot blows are recommended.

Abstract:After the ultra-low emission reform on 2×660 MW units in a power plant, the power consumption for desulfurization of the#4 unit is 0.2~0.3 percentage point higher than that of the#3 unit. Through analysis, it is determined that the high power consumption for desulfurization of the #4 unit is caused by the uneven gas flow field in the clean gas pipe and the inaccurate measurement of the flue gas by continuous emission monitoring system (CEMS). According to the analysis results, the baffle is added, reasonable sampling position is reselected and sampling probe is prolonged. After the reform, the measurement accuracy of CEMS is obviously improved, which can meet the requirements of operational monitoring and environmental monitoring. Energy saving and consumption reduction is obvious.

Abstract:Taking a 600 MW coal-fired unit limestone-gypsum wet flue gas desulfurization (WFGD) system as an example, the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) carried within flue gas and flue gas particulate at inlets and outlets were tested and compared. The alteration of PAHs concentration at inlets and outlets of WFGD system are analyzed. The test results show that PAHs concentration carried within flue gas is 1 126.7 ng/m3and more than 66.8% of it is distributed in flue gas particulate. The removal rate of WFGD system to PAHs is 60% and the removal rate to tetracyclic hydrocarbon and PAHs with five or more membered rings are 68.5% and 59.2% respectively, which is much higher than the removal rate to PAHs with 2 or 3 membered rings.
