Application of Task—based Language Teaching in High School English Classroom

The new curriculum standard advocates the task-based teaching has been ten years, in the task-based language teaching research and practice has also made some achievements. In this paper, based on the 10 representative papers, the research of task based teaching method in English classroom teaching in senior high school is studied in this paper.

1. Introduction

In the last century at the beginning of 90s, the central normal university professor Zuo Huanqi Chinese launched a national survey of authoritative teaching shows that the results show that the basic grammar translation method China middle school English teaching, the teaching focus on language knowledge, which is far behind the foreign language teaching Chinese economic and social development, especially in English the actual needs of teaching.

2. Research results

Task based approach is a form of communicative approach. As early as 1850s, this teaching method appeared in the Western Vocational education. But until the end of last century, the theory of task-based teaching system was systematically changed. Since 1985, M. Long proposed the theory, so far, western scholars such as Crookes, Wiley, Wright, Prabhu, Nunan of this theory, especially the "task" put forward their own views and definitions, both in theory and practice are discussed and the further development of the.

The research of task based teaching in senior high school English Teaching in China is divided into the following aspects:

2.1 introduction to task based Language Teaching

This paper introduces and analyzes the introduction and development of the task-based language teaching method. The influencing factors of the task based language teaching in junior middle school English class are analyzed comprehensively. Longxiang briefly expounds on TBLT background and research situation at home and abroad, analyzes the basic framework of Task-based teaching. Zhou Yajun combed the literature on the task based teaching at home and abroad, especially for the task based teaching research.

2.2 task based language teaching in middle school English class in the application of research

The application of task based language teaching in English class is the main topic of scholars. Zhou Yajun conducted a survey on the implementation of the task based teaching design, and concluded and suggestions. From the survey of students status and teaching situation, Song Donghui introduced the concept of task-based teaching, and expounded the feasibility and existing problems from theory to practice. And compared with the traditional English teaching methods, this paper expounds the implementation of the task based approach in oral English Teaching in senior high school and the specific implementation process. Through comparative analysis of theoretical support and oral test scores of the experimental class and the control class, according to the statistical results of the questionnaire analysis showed that task-based teaching is a kind of people-oriented, can reflect the value of advanced teaching methods and effective, but also has a dialectical point of view to look at the task-based teaching.
