Onthe“FamilyResemblance”oftheAnthologiesofAncientProseMadeintheMingDynasty
(by ZHENG Tian-xi)
Abstract: There are two “ethnic” groups in the extant anthologies made in the Ming Dynasty: one is the group of longitudinal extension, and the other is the group in horizontal series. From the perspective of “family resemblance” theory, it is found that there are both similarities and differences among the members in the same “ethnic” groups of anthologies. The “similarities” and “differences” reflected the gaming between the market-guided view of ancient literature based on the individual needs of readers stimulated by the development of commercial publishing in the Ming Dynasty, and the traditional view of literature serving as a vehicle for moral message.

TheformsofTalking-singingTalesBasedonJourneytotheWest
(by CHE Rui)
Abstract:Buddhist classics had a profound influence on ancient Chinese talking-singing tales. Talking-singing tales based onJourneytotheWestkept the form of Buddhist rhyming verses but were also influenced by popular literature which abundantly adopted repetition, parallel structures, and interpolation. This was a way for folk artists to show off their skills, and it also served to enhance the audience’s interest and aesthetic expectations. Such tales, combining poems and drama, were flexible in forms and gained wide audiences by using tunes of southern and northern opera and folk songs popular in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

(by CHEN Tao)
Abstract: The main responsibility of Charcoal commissioner as one of the functional administrators in the Tang Dynasty was to manage charcoal affairs. In the early Tang period, the management of charcoal affairs was within the jurisdiction of the Agriculture Department. During the Tianbao period of emperor Xuanzong, it was assigned to the newly established Charcoal commissioner. After the Mawei incident, it returned to the Agriculture Department. During the period of emperor Daizong, it was first separated from the Agriculture Department and became Charcoal Administration and then returned to the Agriculture Department again. During the period of emperor Dezong, it was separated from the Agriculture Department and became Charcoal Administration again and then it was assigned to the Fiscal Revenue and Expenditure Administration. During the reign of emperor Xianzong, it was returned to the Agricultural Department again. The main reasons for the change of management power over charcoal affairs in the Tang Dynasty were mainly the transformation of the political system, the change of political situations and the development of the commodity economy.

ResearchontheDualTransferStrategy,CounterpartSupportPolicyandtheCoordinationDegreeofRegionalDevelopmentinGuangdong
(by WU Haimin, ZHANG Chuan-yang, WU Shu-juan)
Abstract:The coordination degree of Guangdong’s regional development depends on the spillover effect and polarization effect of the Pearl River Delta, as well as catch-up effect and convergence effect in the east and northwest of Guangdong. In terms of time dimension, the regional economic coordination degree of Guangdong presents an inverted V-shaped trend, while in terms of spatial dimension, the development coordination degree between the four regions follows a V-shaped trend. This shows that the double transfer promotes the improvement of the comprehensive coordination degree of the whole province, but widens the development gap between the four regions, whereas the counterpart assistance improves the coordination degree between the four regions but widens the gap between the 21 cities. The government policy should play a role in furthering the spillover effects of the Pearl River Delta so as to form a new market-driven and win-win regional counterpart support mechanism, strengthen the catch-up effect and convergence effect in the east and northwest of Guangdong, and push the low-level unbalanced development to high-quality unbalanced development.

OnBetteringConsumers’ExperienceofAgriculturalProductsBasedonfNIRSBrandBuilding
(by PENG Min-jing, ZHANG Xiao-ling)
Abstract: In the era of accelerating pace of life, brand building for agricultural products can save consumers’ choice time and bring them better consumption experience. However, there is no objective and clear research on how agricultural products brands affect customers’ consumption experience. Functional near infrared spectroscopy brain imaging (fNIRS) can collect brain neural activity data, providing objective and clear data proof for the study. In this study, fNIRS technology was used to collect the change data of prefrontal oxygenated hemoglobinoxy in 42 subjects to investigate whether there was a difference in the influence of branded and unbranded agricultural products on consumer’s prefrontal lobe under the condition of hiding brand information. The results showed that all fruit tasting was activated in the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex and the frontal pole of the brain when the brand information was hidden. However, there were significant differences in the activation degree of different brands of fruits. The activation of left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex and frontal polar area of the subjects in the tasting of branded fruits was more intense, which indicated that the consumption experience of the subjects was improved and their purchase intention was greater when tasting branded fruits.

DidWangYangmingFollowChenBaishaIdeologically?
(by Ma Ji,Bi Tian-hang)
Abstract: Influenced by Huang Zongxi’s statement “Confucianism in the Ming Dynasty was made sophisticated and subtle by Chen Baisha and made grand by Wang Yangming”, many scholars of the later generations believed that Chen Baisha and Wang Yangming were in the same ideological line. Shu Jingnan in his The Road to Redemption also holds this view. This article focuses on “the Yichou year’s enlightenment” and examines whether Baisha and Yangming were on the same ideological line. First, there are three flaws in the “enlightenment in th Yichou year”. Second, according to Wang Yangming’s discourse made prior to and after that year, Wang’s thought returned to Confucianism and not to Chen Baisha’s study of the mind. Finally, Shu adopted four strategies to demonstrate that in the year of Yichou, Yang Ming accepted Chen Baisha’s “Study of the Mind Method ”--“mediating to purify the mind and understand the heavenly principles.” An analysis reveals that mediation with a view to understanding heavenly principles did not belong in Chen Baisha’s study of the mind method. Therefore, the conclusion that Wang Yangming accepted Chen Baisha’s study of the mind method is too arbitrary.

LegalResearchontheExclusiveLicenseModeofDigitalMusicCopyright
(by CHEN Jia-min,YANG Jian-chong)
Abstract: The mode of exclusive authorization is the product of consultation and consensus between copyright owners and Internet service providers, which not only conforms to the spirit of “freedom of contract” but also complies with the relevant provisions of China’s Copyright Law. However, the exclusive licensing model may cause vicious market competition, harm the interests of consumers, and even shake the status of collective copyright management organizations. In this regard, legal license and collective license may be feasible in eliminating the negative influence of the exclusive license mode of digital music copyright, namely, by removing the restrictions on the licensing conditions set by collective management organizations and adding legal license clauses by copyright owners and digital music platforms, on the basis of maintaining the “autonomy of will” of the exclusive license mode.
