这不是我的帽子

同学们，让我们一起来看看本期小象英文教室又给大家带来了什么好看的英文绘本？——这是一本短小而又有意思的绘本《This Is Not My Hat》。别看绘本的画面黑不溜秋，却获得了2013年美国凯迪克金奖，还曾被评选为亚马逊网络书店年度最佳童书、美国《纽约时报》年度最佳童书。

整本书都是以一条偷了帽子的小鱼为主角的独白，如同小鱼在和读者说悄悄话；随着小鱼丰富的内心活动的开展，读者的观察力和独立思考能力就会自然而然地在阅读中得到提升……

《This Is Not My Hat》

This hat is not mine.

I juststole（偷） it.

I stole it from a big fish.

He wasasleep（正在睡觉） when I did it.

And heprobably（可能）won’twake up（醒来） for a long time.

Andeven if（即便）he does wake up，he probably won’tnotice（注意）that it’s gone.

And even if he does notice that it’s gone,he probably won’t know it was me who took it.

And even if he doesguess（猜 测）it was me,he won’t know where I am going.

But I'll tell you where I'm going.

I am going where theplants（水草）grow big and tall and close together.

It is very hard to see in there.

Nobody will ever find me.

There is someone who had saw me already（已经）.

But he said he wouldn't tell anybody which way I went.

So I'm notworried（担心）about it.

I know it'swrong（错的） to steal a hat.

I know it does notbelong（属于）to me.

But I'm going tohold（拥有）it.

It was too small for him anyway.

Itfits（适合）me just right.

And, look! I made it!

Where the plants arebig and close together（茂密）.

I know I was going to make it.

Nobody will ever find me.

同学们，你们看懂这个故事了吗？

聪明的你一定会发现，一切情况和小鱼想的正好相反。大鱼醒了，意识到自己头上的帽子没有了。他很在乎，并且开始去找回帽子，途中向小螃蟹问路，知道了小鱼的去处。大鱼游进了茂密的水草中，拿到了自己的帽子，很开心地戴在了头上。

可是，小鱼去哪里了呢？
