教学过程

一、导入自然,创设语境

1.Greetings

2.Say a rhyme.

Rain,rain,go away.Come again another day.Little Johnny wants to play.

Rain on the green grass.Rain on the trees.Rain on the rooftops,not on me.

设计意图:通过耳熟能详的歌谣,创设活跃的英语学习的氛围,并自然地呈现了下雨天的情境。

二、问题引领,整体呈现

1.Watch the video and answer the questions.How is the weather?Why is Johnny unhappy?How can Johnny get some help?

Listening material:I’m Johnny.Tom is my good friend.Today is Saturday.We wantto play football.Butit’s raining.We cannot go out.What can we do now? Can we call our friends?Can we watch a film?Ah,I can surf the Internet and ask for help.

2.Listen,look and fill in the blanks.

Johnny is______the Internet and asking for help.

Tom and Iwantto play football.

But it’s raining.We cannot go out.

Can we?Can we?

What can we do now?

设计意图:通过Johnny的一段录像,整体呈现文本内容并先提出问题引发学生思考。以问题为驱动,在小语段中呈现新短语surfthe Internet,callfriends,watch a film,并通过Phonics教学解决读音问题。

三、小组讨论,练习巩固

1.Discuss in groups.What else can they do?

Show pictures of activities(callfriends,water the plants,play the piano,listen to music,play chess,listen to CDs,draw pictures,paint,watch TV,read books).

2.Let’s chant.

Rain,rain,come today.

Don’t worry.Let’s play.

Call friends,watch a film.(替换不同的短语)

We are happy every day.

设计意图:紧密围绕问题,请小组同学给建议。在这里既复习旧知,又练习了新知,并通过自编的Chant突出本课的情感教育:不论天气如何,学生们都能找到令自己开心的活动,做到天天快乐。

四、文本再构,拓展提升

Johnny,don’t worry.It’s raining,but you can do a lot of thingsathome.First,you can call your friends.Then you can watch a film.Next,you can listen to music or play the piano.After that,you can read a book.Have a nice day!

设计意图:通过引入连接词first,then,next,after that,将本课的新知整合成一个新的文本,提供了雨天可以从事丰富多彩活动的场景,从而为本课中的快乐雨天活动提供条件,也为后续部分的学习埋下伏笔。

五、任务驱动,以读促写

Johnnyishappynow.He wants to write a diary about his rainy weekend.Can you help him to finish it?

设计意图:小学高年级在注重学生听说能力训练的同时,要加强读写能力的培养。通过前面再构文本的出现,给学生提供了一个写作的范例,可以帮助学生将所学的新知运用到新的语境中。
