中国喜马拉雅山宽额甲属2新种记述(鞘翅目:拟步甲科)

中国喜马拉雅山宽额甲属2新种记述(鞘翅目:拟步甲科)

宽额甲属AscelosodisRedtenbacher,1868是青藏高原喜马拉雅地区的1个特有类群,迄今已记录25个物种.本文报道来自西藏的2个新种,分别是直缘宽额甲A.rectussp.nov.和聂拉木宽额甲A.nyalamensissp.nov.,并给出2新种的形态特征描述、形态特征图及其与近缘种的示差鉴别.

Ascelosodis rectus sp.nov.(Figs.1,2)

The new species resemblesAscelosodisschmidiKaszab,1965,with the following differences:anterior margin of clypeal lobe weakly sinuate;genae gradually wider before eyes;pronotum with anterior angles obtuse,rounded apically and with anterior margin shortly prominent in the middle;the fifth abdomen extending the end straight.

Etymology:Named after the fifth abdomen extending the end straight.

Holotype:♂,China,Tibet,Lhazê,Cuola Mountain,28°53.959′N,87°25.182′E;alt.5 064 m,2 August 2011,collected by Ren Guodong.Paratypes:16♂27♀,same data as the holotype.

Ascelosodis nyalamensis sp.nov.(Figs.3,4)

The new species resemblesA.emarginataRen & Shi,2006,with the following differences:Sides of prothorax and elytra with very sparsely ciliate beneath;pronotal surface with coarse punctures,slightly denser on disc than on sides and rugae between disc and sides;elytra base with obscure but finely entire bordered;Elytra surface with sparsely and obscurely shallow punctures.

Etymology:Named after the type locality.

Holotype:♂,China,Tibet,Nyalam,Mainpu,Tulong,28°25.841′N,86°08.840′E,Alt.4 478 m,30 July 2014,collected by Ren Guodong.Paratypes:1♂3♀,collected by Ren Guodong,Bai Xinglong and Shan Junsheng,same data as the holotype.

宽额甲属AscelosodisRedtenbacher,1868[1]的分类体系几经变动,最初被放在鳖甲族Tentyriini[2-3];随后Doyen[4]根据雌性生殖管(internal female tract)和交合刺(spiculum)等特征将其移入Eurymetopini Casey,1907[5],Löbl et al.[6]最新记录其为鳖甲族Tentyriini.迄今该属全球记录25种(Redtenbacher(1868)1种,Bates(1879)6种,Blair(1923)5种,Koch(1943,1948)2种,(1959,1965,1968)3种,Kaszab et al.(1978)1种,Ren & Shi(2006,2007)6种[1,7-21]),已知分布东至中国西藏朗县,西至阿富汗,南至喜马拉雅山脉,北至新疆南缘.该属中国已知20种(含本文新种),主要分布于中国西藏.作者在整理该地区该属标本时,从中发现2个至今尚未报道的物种,分别是直缘宽额甲A.rectussp.nov.和聂拉木宽额甲A.nyalamensissp.nov.模式标本保存于河北大学博物馆.

1 研究材料与方法

研究标本采自中国西藏地区,保存于河北大学博物馆.标本由Nikon SMZ800鉴定,并用Leica M205A stereomicroscope 进行拍照并测量,后期用Adobe Photoshop CS6 进行图片处理.生殖器及第Ⅷ背、腹板均用甘油保存.

2 新种记述

2.1直缘宽额甲,新种Ascelosodis rectus sp.nov.(图1,2)

体卵圆形,黑色,具弱光泽,体下、触角、上唇、口须及足棕黑色.身体侧缘被稀疏长毛.

雄性(图1a~d,g~j):唇基宽短,前缘弧凹,略长过颊侧叶,额唇基沟浅凹;前颊弱弧形,于眼前逐渐扩展,近基部为头部最宽处.复眼被颊深切.头顶隆起,布稀疏浅小刻点,向四周变为稠密和长圆形,唇基端部刻点模糊.触角向后伸达前胸背板中部,第2~11节相对长(宽)之比为6.0 (5.5)∶5.5 (5.5)∶4.5 (5.5)∶4.5 (5.5)∶4.5 (5.5)∶4.5 (5.5)∶5.0 (5.0)∶5.5 (7.0)∶5.5 (7.5)∶7.0 (7.5),第9节内端缘,第10节端部内、外缘及末节端部有金黄色感觉毛区.

前胸背板宽于长1.88~2.10倍(平均1.97倍,n=10),近基部最宽,宽于头部1.45~1.59倍(平均1.54倍,n=10);前缘弧凹,中间稍突出,饰边中断;侧缘弱弧形,具完整细饰边;基部向后微凸,仅两侧具细饰边;前角钝圆,后角非常圆;盘区隆起,布十分稀疏的浅小刻点,其向两侧稍变稠密,侧缘饰边由背观不可见.前胸侧板有少量颗粒和纵皱纹.前胸腹板突窄,端部垂降.

鞘翅卵形,长大于宽1.17~1.30倍(平均1.22倍,n=10),中部稍前最宽,宽于前胸背板1.10~1.22倍(平均1.16倍,n=10);肩圆;盘区均匀隆起,着生浅小刻点和支状皱纹,近端部鲨皮状,侧缘具稀疏颗粒;缘折几乎达到鞘翅基部,表面有少量颗粒.可见腹板均布刻点和浅色微毛.肛节端部近直截.

足粗壮,前足胫节端外角强烈突出,顶尖,略超过第4跗节端部.中、后足胫节端部明显向上弯曲;后足第1~4跗节相对长度之比为19.5∶8.0∶6.5∶15.5.

阳茎长1.40 mm(体长5.34 mm);阳基侧突长0.73 mm,宽0.24 mm.阳基侧突端半部强烈隆起,端部2/5处最宽,两侧中部变窄.

雌性:与雄性主要区别是鞘翅稍长,背面刻点十分稠密和清晰.产卵器见图1l~m;第Ⅷ背板见图1f;第Ⅸ腹板见图1k;第Ⅷ腹板见图1e.

体长:♂5.28~5.95 mm,♀5.34~6.78 mm;宽:♂2.73~3.05 mm,♀2.78~3.4 mm.

正模:♂,西藏拉孜措拉山,28°53.959′N,87°25.182′E,Alt.5 064 m,2011-08-02,任国栋采;副模:16♂27♀,记录同正模.

新种在外形上与分布于西藏的斯氏宽额甲AscelosodisschmidiKaszab,1965相似,与后者的主要区别是:唇基前缘微凹;复眼前的前颊略扩展;前胸背板前角钝圆形,前缘中间略突出;肛节端部近于直截.

词源学:种名来自第5腹板端部直截.

2.2聂拉木宽额甲,新种Ascelosodis nyalamensis sp.nov.(图3,4)

体黑色,具光泽,触角、足及身体腹面棕黑色.身体侧缘具很稀疏的黄色短毛.

雄性(图3a~d,g~j):唇基叶较颊侧叶明显宽阔和突出,前缘直截或稍突出,具刻点.前颊于眼前近平行,向唇基基部弱弧形收缩,与唇基叶通过浅刻痕明显分开,近基部为头部最宽处.复眼肾形.后颊于眼后渐缩.头背面稍隆起,布稀疏圆刻点并在复眼内侧变为皱纹.触角粗壮,向后伸达前胸背板基部,第2~11节相对长(宽)之比为8.0(7.0)∶13.0 (6.5)∶9.0(6.0)∶8.5(6.5)∶7.5(7.0)∶7.0(7.5)∶8.0(7.5)∶7.5(9.0)∶7.5(10.0)∶9.0(8.5),第9节端内缘和第10节端部内、外缘及末节端部有金黄色感觉毛区.颏端部有阔三角形浅凹,布粗糙大刻点及乱皱纹.

前胸背板宽大于长1.86倍,中部稍前最宽,宽于头部1.62倍;前缘弧凹;侧缘圆,具完整细饰边,有稀疏短睫毛;基部与前缘近平行,中间饰边断开;前角突出,近直角形,后角圆钝.背面强烈隆起,盘区稀布粗糙刻点,其向侧缘稍稠密,部分刻点相连,呈皱纹状.前胸侧板布光滑纵皱纹.前胸腹板突近舌状,向前缓降,向后稍突出,末端陡降.

鞘翅卵形,长大于宽1.13倍,近中部最宽,宽于前胸背板1.29倍.基部具不清晰的完整细饰边;肩角圆.背面隆起,布稀疏的模糊浅点.鞘翅缘折窄,光滑,于后足处向基部强烈变宽,并由背面可见.第1~3可见腹板具纵皱纹,其间有稀疏粗刻点,第4~5可见腹板具稍稠密的粗糙刻点.

足粗壮,腿节端部由背面可见.前足胫节外缘稍锯齿状.中、后足胫节外侧稍弯;后足第1~4跗节相对长度之比为23.5∶10.0∶8.5∶21.5.

阳茎长1.51 mm(体长7.17 mm);阳基侧突长0.88 mm,宽0.34 mm,两侧近于平行,端部具少量短毛,侧观弧形弯曲,近中部最宽.

雌性:产卵器见图3 l~m;第Ⅷ背板见图3f;第Ⅸ腹板见图3k;第Ⅷ腹板见图3e.

体长:♂7.17~7.68 mm;♀7.25~7.88 mm;体宽:♂4.04~4.36 mm;♀4.11~4.43 mm.

正模:♂,西藏聂拉木门布乡土龙,28°25.841′N,86°08.840′E,Alt.4478 m,2014-07-30.任国栋采;副模:1♂3♀,任国栋、白兴龙、单军生采,其他信息同正模.

本种与分布于西藏的凹饰宽额甲AscelosodisemarginataRen & Shi,2006相似,与后者的主要区别是:体侧具稀疏短毛;前胸背板具稀疏的粗大刻点,刻点向两侧汇合至皱纹状;鞘翅基部具饰边,具模糊稀疏浅刻点.
