教学过程
Step 1.Warm-up(课前热身,迅速入境)(预计用时5分钟)
1.自然交谈,交待评价
T:Good morning,boys and girls.Today I’ll divide you into six groups, rectangle group,square group,triangle group,circle group, heart-shaped group,star-shaped group.Each group should be active,one question,one card.Please stick them on the board.
S:OK,we’re ready.
设计意图:在与学生互相问好之后,教师用六个不同的形状将学生分成六个小组进行小组合作学习、交待评价,体现了新课标中所阐述的儿童认知发展规律,充分调动了学生的学习积极性,培养了学生的团队精神和集体荣誉感。
2.复习旧知,激趣导学
T:I’ll show you a photo of a man.He’s cool and famous.Can you guess who he is?(此时教师出示一张照片)
Ss:学生猜各种人名。
T:Look.This is me.Is he cool?Is he famous?
S:Yes.
T:What’s my English name?Do you know?Let me tell you.My English name is Timmy.What does Timmy refer to?Let me tell you one letter by one letter.But you can remember the whole sentence.
S:OK.
T:“T”refers to“tomorrow”.“I”refers to “is”.“M”refers to “my”.“M”refers to“mum’s”. “Y” refers to“birthday”.Can you say the whole sentence?
Ss:Tomorrow is my mum’s birthday.
T:That’s wonderful.(渗透本课文本语句)
此时教师出示自己母亲的照片。
T:Let’s say happy birthday to her.Birthday,what do you think of it?
S: Cake, candles, gifts,party,candy...
T:Good boys and girls.(渗透本课文本语句)Boys and girls,let’s go to the cake shop together,OK?(此时教师出示一张蛋糕图片)
设计意图:通过猜照片、猜单词,联想当天的主题,为本文的学习埋下了伏笔,体现了新课标中的任务型教学的特点。此环节,采用了师问生、生问师、生生问等多种形式让学生习得语言、操练语言,目的是让所有学生参与进来,让每一个学生都有开口练习的机会,体现了新课标中面向全体、合作交流的要求。
Step 2.Presentation(会话交际,呈现新知)(预计用时15分钟)
1.Lead to the text感知新知,埋下伏笔
T: Oh,look! There’s a woman.Who is she?
Lisa:This is my mum.Hello,everyone.I’m Lisa.
S:Hello,Lisa.Why are you here?
Lisa:Because today is my birthday.
T: Really? Let’s listen.What is Lisa talking with her mum?
设计意图:教师借助Lisa的声音和她妈妈的插图引入语言语境,让学生通过猜测来充分发挥想象力,引领学生走入本课情境,最终呈现本节课的课文内容。
2.Present the text试听结合,交际使用
T:Let’s watch.(第一遍放映,没有文字)
T:Let’s watch again.But before that,please listen to some questions.After watching,please answer them.(第二遍放映,呈现文字)
3.Key sentences study&Dialogue learning语言聚焦,任务教学
Q1:Whatkind ofcake would Lisa like?

Ss:...(学生回答问题)
T:There are many kinds of cakes in the shop.Do you like cakes?What kind of cake would you like?(教师在屏幕上出示四种蛋糕图片并板书)

T:I’d like a heart-shaped cake.Because it can show my love for mum.(播放背景音乐,感受母亲的伟大,展示爱)

T:Would you like to give something to your mum?

T:OK,let’s have a brain storm.(教师出示各种图形组合成实物,让学生猜)
设计意图:听录音回答问题,使新知识的学习从语言情境和意义的理解出发,而不是直接进入句型的机械操练。这是一种有意义的学习过程,能有效激发学生的学习兴趣。指导学生先对课文内容进行预测,再来观看课文动画,并通过问题来检查学生理解课文的情况。在此环节设计了逐步理解课文的活动并通过手指游戏和猜谜游戏来学习两种图形的英文表达法。同时将图形作为评价手段,用图形做奖品,让获胜的学生选择喜欢的图形来不断复习新学的生词。此外,提前渗透后面将学到的“What shape would you like?”这一重点句型,有利于分散难点,为后面教学铺平道路。
Step 3.Practice(师生互动,生生互动)(预计用时10分钟)
1.Read thedialogueby themselves.
T:Wonderful.Let’s read the text by yourselves.
2.Read thedialoguein different roles.
3.Act out the dialogue in pairs.
设计意图:三递进模式让学生模仿语言、操练语言、习得语言、运用语言,最终将所学知识运用到实际生活中,达到学以致用的目的。此环节体现了《英语课程标准》面向全体学生的理念。之后带领学生回归文本,培养学生自主学习和创造学习的能力,通过引领,由自主到合作,由浅入深,逐层递进,培养学生的听说认读习惯与合作精神。
Step 4.Production(拓展训练,培养学生自主学习)(预计用时8分钟)
1.Make an interview.

设计意图:让全体学生拿出自己的奖励图形,反面即是调查表,可以对伙伴、老师、现场观众进行蛋糕种类和类型喜好的真实调查,并通过口头作文的形式做出反馈,使每个学生能够体验到成功。

3.Show time.
设计意图:学生根据自己喜欢去的商店创编对话。这个活动不仅有助于提高学生的综合语言运用能力,还滚动复习了关于此话题下交流所需的旧知,更重要的是培养了学生在小组中合作交流的意识,在真实的语境中完成了综合语言的运用。
Step 5.Summary&Homework(预计用时2分钟)
1.Tips:Love your mum.
告诉学生给妈妈最好的礼物不是糖果、花、巧克力……,而是你们的爱。(歌曲《母亲》的背景音乐响起,再次渗透情感教育。)
T:Children,the most important thing which you give to your mum is notcandy,flowers,chocolates or fruit,butyour love.You know,your love is the best gift for your mum.
2.Homework.
(1)Show your love for mum.(You can say something or do something to your mum)
(2)Interview your friend.
(3)Makeanew dialogue with your partners.
3.Assessment
设计意图:评价与情感渗透有机结合,极大地激发学生的学习兴趣和学习动机,促使其更积极主动地参与课堂学习活动。活动不应该局限于课堂教学,还要延伸到课堂之外的学习和生活中,回归实际生活。本节课的作业布置就巧妙地在巩固兴趣的同时将本节课的所学延伸至课堂外。伴着音乐声,伴着学生用英语的交谈声,本课接近了尾声……
