Chinese Journal of Cancer Research Guidelines for Authors

Chinese Journal of Cancer Research (CJCR)is the official publication of Chinese Anti-Cancer Association (CACA).The Journal published quarterly in English focuses on the aspects of cancer research including mainly cancer etiology and epidemiology,cellular and molecular biology,biochemistry,immunology,molecular genetics,gene diagnosis and gene therapy,pathology of malignant tumor,research on anti-cancer drugs,imaging diagnosis of cancer,surgical oncology,medical oncology,radiation oncology and biological therapy of cancer,etc.
CJCR publishes articles and brief reports for original investigations.Reviews in any fields of cancer research based on authors’work are also accepted.
Submission of Manuscripts
The manuscript must be accompanied by a cover letter including the statements as follows: (1)The paper is submitted to CJCR with the understanding that it has not been and will not be published elsewhere; (2)The submission must have the approval of all of the authors.
The original manuscript plus two copies and an electronic version should be submitted to:

Preparation of Manuscript
General format
The manuscript should be printed,doubled-spaced,on one side only of ISO A4 paper.The top,bottom and side margins should be at least 30 mm.All pages should be numbered consecutively in the top right-hand corner,beginning from section of title page.
Non-standard abbreviations should be defined when first used in the text.Initially use the word in full,followed by the abbreviation in parentheses.Thereafter use the abbreviation only.
All measurements must be given in SI units.
Original article
An original article should include: (1)title page,(2)abstract,(3)key words,(4)introduction,(5)materials and methods,(6)results,(7)discussion,(8)acknowledgments,(9)references,(10)figure legends,(11)figures,(12)tables with legend and footnotes.
Title page
The title page should contain: (1)the title of the paper,(2)the full names of the authors,(3)the addresses of the institutions at which the work was carried out,(4)the full postal and E-mail address,plus telephone numbers.
All articles must have a structured abstract.Divide the abstract with the headings: Objective,Methods,Results and Conclusion.
The references should be each numbered,ordered sequentially as they appear in the text,tables,figure legends.Use MEDLINE abbreviations for names of journals.Cite all authors unless there are more than five,in which case only the first three should be given,followed by “et al.”,do not use “ibid”.
