Construction technology of airless enclosed main shaft seal for pumped storage units

Abstract:The main shaft seal of pumped-storage power plant is the connecting part of rotating parts and fixed parts of pump turbine. Conventional main shaft seal consists of an air shroud and a working seal ring. The air shroud is used to block pressure water during unit maintenance and repair, while the working seal ring is used to block pressure water during unit operations. Based on the mechanical and electrical installation project of Fujian Yongtai Pumpedstorage Power Plant, this paper introduces an airless shroud type main shaft sealing structure, and summarizes the construction technology to provide a reference for subsequent similar projects.

Assembly and construction technology of ring forging yoke for high speed and large capacity pumpedstorage power plant

Abstract:The rotor magnetic yoke construction of generators consists three types: integral solid magnetic yoke,laminated magnetic yoke, and segmented circular ring magnetic yoke. The segmented circular ring magnetic yoke is mainly used for large capacity, high speed pumped storage units. This paper discusses the characteristics and assembly processes of the ring forged yoke of Yangjiang Pumped-storage Power Plant.

One-time installation of water distributor of large pumped-storage power plant

Abstract:Water distributor is mainly composed of bottom ring, guide vane, top cover, control ring, crank arm and servomotor. In contrast to conventional mixed flow units, the water distributor of pumped-storage power plant has the characteristics of compact layout, narrow installation space and higher installation accuracy. Pumped-storage power plant has two operating conditions of water turbine and water pump, and the operating environment is more complicated.Taking a pumped-storage power plant as an example, this paper summarizes a set of one-time completion technology for the installation of water distributor, which effectively ensures construction quality, optimizes the construction period and resource input, creates good economic and social benefits, and has reference value for the design and construction of similar projects.

Research on the installation method of penstock with limited space at the top of shaft

Abstract:The diversion tunnel of Yili River Cascade IV Hydropower Station Reconstruction Project is equipped with two vertical shafts penstock. The excavation depth in the shaft is comparatively deep, and the length of penstock straight pipe section is 3 m per section. Considering the local geological conditions, resource allocation, construction cost, project investment and other comprehensive factors, there is no extra construction space except the necessary space for penstock installation which is reserved at the top of the shaft, . Construction in the confined space has become a difficult control of the Yili River Reconstruction Project.
