近日，在第24届“中国青年五四奖章”评选中，中国女排队长朱婷榜上有名。她是世界冠军队伍的“定海神针”、女排精神的传承者，也是青年体育人奋勇争先、为国争光的最好写照。

Volleyball player Zhu Ting， 26， was shortlisted for the 24th China Youth May Fourth Medal on April 20. The medial is a prestigious honor and is awarded annually to celebrate the recipients' prominent pursuits and accomplishments.

“I am happy to hear that praise， but I can't succeed without the team's cooperation，” Zhu Ting said.

As the captain of China National Women's Voleyball Team， Zhu Ting has shown peerless vision and immaculate technique， and has undertaken many tasks on the court to inspire morale and mobilize the team's enthusiasm. In 2019， the team won the World Cup with an impressive record of 11 consecutive victories. It is no wonder that she was selected as the China Volleyball Association 2019-20 Most Valuable Player （MVP）.

“She is a smart player with strong abilities of perception，” Lang Ping， the head coach of China National Women's Volleyball Team， said in a CCTV interview in December last year.

Zhu Ting is now well known around the world. She was recently featured in a children's book When I Grow Up—Sports Heroes， which includes other notable figures such as Lionel Messi， LeBron James and Usain Bolt.

4月20日，现年26岁的排球运动员朱婷入围第24届“中国青年五四奖章”个人名单。“五四奖章”是一项殊荣，每年颁发一次，旨在表彰获奖者的卓越追求与成就。

“我很高兴得知这个消息，但我的成功离不开团队合作。”朱婷说道。

身为中国女排队长，朱婷展现了出众的眼界以及高超的个人技术，她还在球场上承担了鼓舞士气、调动团队热情等多项任务。2019年，中国女排十一连胜获得世界杯冠军。朱婷也被选为中国排球协会2019-2020赛季最有价值球员，实至名归。

“朱婷是很聪明、悟性很高的运动员。”中国女排主教练郎平去年12月在接受央视采访时如此表示。

如今，朱婷闻名全球。最近，她还被写进一本儿童读物《等我长大——体坛英雄》。与她同时被收录进此书的还有梅西、詹姆斯、博尔特等體坛巨星。
