《天津美术学院学报》2018年第1期的《今日人物》，向大家推介天津美术学院造型艺术学院郑金岩院长的艺术创作。郑金岩先生多年来在油画艺术领域潜心探索，其极具张力的作品描摹出了一个充满特殊热情的世界。
本期的《展览现场》栏目中，“上海当代艺术30年文献展”等新近展事值得人们特殊关注。这个展览不仅是对上海当代艺术的某种文案总结，更是对上海乃至整个中国现当代艺术发展的一种自省和反思，先行者们的成败经验值得我们在今后继续学习和继承。
本期的《艺术视野》栏目，主要介绍了“中国高等美术院校基础教学研讨会暨纸本绘画作品展”的一些基本情况，除了路洪明先生等提供的展览综述和姜中立先生的作品集前言，郝青松先生《美术学院的基础教学与观念转向》更从近期美术教育现象入手，对美院教学观念的走向进行了发人深省的思考。
本期的《史论经纬》栏目选登了一批外国美术史研究的新近成果，从30年前的翻译介绍到今天研究系统的逐渐精深，在艺术创作界寻求深入发展的同时，艺术理论界的外国美术研究也在追寻着深入发展。

In the first issue of theJournal of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, Figures of Today highlights the works of Mr.Zheng Jinyan, director of School of Plastic Arts, Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. Mr. Zheng has been dedicated to oil painting for decades, and his works full of tension portray a world exuding unusual enthusiasm.
In this issue, Exhibition Reviews introduces the “30 Years’ Documenta of Shanghai Contemporary Art”, which deserves our particular attention. This show is not only a summary of contemporary art in Shanghai, but also an introspection of contemporary art of whole China; we can learn from our forerunners’ past, be it success or failure.
Our Art Vision reviews the Symposium on Fundamental Teaching and Exhibition of Paper-based Paintings in Art Colleges and Universities of China. Mr. Lu Hongming provides an overview, and Mr. Jiang Zhongli writes a preface to the catalogue; and Mr. Hao Qingsong offers his insights into the trend of teaching concepts in art academies in his“Fundamental Teaching at Art Academies and Concept Shift.”
Also in this issue, Art History and Theories includes some of the latest achievements in the research of foreign art history. From the activities of translation and introduction thirty years ago to increasingly systematic present-day probing and studies, along with the in-depth development in the area of artistic creation, our studies of foreign art in the field of art theories are deepening as well.
