毛里求斯贝尔马尔度假村

考虑到毛里求斯独特的火山构造、历史、文化以及岛上充满活力的人民,毛里求斯贝尔马尔度假村的景观规划及最终度假村景观和艺术品被设计成为一系列私室,让客人在度假村拥有别样旅游体验。前面是2千米长的一道沙地,蔚蓝色的珊瑚礁泻湖吸引着度假村客人,他们都想在这里度过一个阳光假期。但柯林・冈下胜美博士的设计焦点却集中在极力为建筑物背后的区域找到一种独特解决方案。尽管这类区域经常用于客户和服务流通,但是通常被人们忽视。柯林・冈下胜美博士从遍布岛内各处的蔗地伸出的黑色石块堆中获得建筑形式灵感,将每个单元设计成四个私室,在线形度假村中形成一个个别具一格的区域。这些建筑物围墙大多采用非传统涂层,使用当地玄武岩材料建造。设计还采用3米高的临时构筑物,遮挡人们视线,提醒行人改变行走路线,放慢脚步;毫无疑问,这些构造物成为沿路方向标。另外,这些构造物树立在绿色草坪或者黄色竹林中,体现了毛里求斯全岛上轻轻摇曳的甘蔗地的特色。每个私室采用大规模手工制作陶瓷产品,为客人们提供各种不同的空间体验。同时,这些工艺品造型也参考了毛里求斯岛的火山构造。

Drawing on its’ volcanic formation, the history, the culture and vitality of the peoples of this island nation, the landscape planning and final resort landscape and artworks design was developed as a series of sanctums through which guests journeyed across the site. Although the 2 kilometre long sandy beachfront an azure coral lagoon is alluring to resort guests searching for a sun drenched vacation, CKOA focussed on a solution for the area behind the buildings. This area is often less considered although it is heavily used for both guest and service circulation. Conceived as an abstracted form of the ubiquitous black rock piles rising out across the cane felds across the island, Dr. Okashimo created four sanctums to defne distinct zones within the linear resort. Local basalt rock material is used as an unconventional cladding to these large scale enclosures. The results are 3 meter high contemporary forms that interrupt the view, redirect and slow people down as they act as directional reminders along the walkways, and rise from large panels of green lawn or groves of yellow bamboo which mirror the gently swaying sugar cane felds across Mauritius. Each sanctum holds a series of large scale, hand-crafted ceramic pot features to provide a different spatial experiences for the guest and draws reference from the volcanic formation of the island.
