【教材分析】
新目标英语七年级上册第七单元的话题是“购物(shopping)”,而本节课所学习的Section B 2a-2c部分是一节阅读课,主体内容是一则促销广告,主要是对本单元前面所学的目标语言及数词等知识进行进一步的巩固与提升,并让学生学会“Sth. is /are +价钱”和 “We have sth. for+价钱”的句式结构及促销广告的书写。
【教学目标】
1.知识与技能
①Key words: buy, sell, sale, price, store.
②Key sentences: Come and buy your clothes. Yellow sweaters are only $12. We have green sweaters for only $15...
③用英语介绍货物价格。
2. 过程与方法
在学生担任Mr. Cool Clothes Store的服务员并完成一天的工作任务的过程中,教师采用了任务型教学法,通过自主、合作探究等学习方式,引导学生完成物品与价格的配对、广告的阅读及阅读任务的完成,最后完成广告的书写。
3.情感态度与价值观
①通过本节课的学习,让学生学会如何更礼貌地卖货及合理消费。
②在小组学习的过程中让学生体会到团结合作的重要性。

【教学流程】
Step1. Lead-in
At first, Ill play a video which is about a conversation between a man and a woman.
W: Can I help you?
M: Yes, I need a pair of shoes.
W: What color do you like?
M: Black.
W: What size are your shoes?
M: 41.
W: What about this pair?
M: Good. How much is it?
W: 15 dollars.
M: OK. Ill take it.
Then, Ill ask a question.
T: What does the woman do?
Ss: She is a shop assistant.
T: Do you want to be shop assistants?
Ss: Yes.
T: OK. Today,you are all shop assistants in Mr. Cool Clothes Store. Now, lets go to the Mr. Cool Clothes Store to finish all days work. Are you ready? Go.
(设计意图:以播放视频导入,能快速吸引学生的注意力,使学生对本节课内容产生兴趣,进而抓住学生对“服务员”这个职业很感兴趣的心理,设置情境,激发了学生的学习激情和欲望,体现了以生为本的课堂。)
Step 2. All days work.
I will choose “The best shop assistant team” from all groups. I hope every group can finish all tasks well. If your group has the highest point, you will win.(此部分我给学生展示“锦旗”,让学生看到奖品更能刺激他们的求胜欲望。)
I. The first task—Singing
In every morning, the shop assistants in Mr. Cool Clothes Store must sing a song to cheer themselves up.
A song(用两只老虎的旋律唱一首歌。)
Shoes are on sale(特价)
Do you want to buy(买) them?
We can sell(卖) them.
Whats the price(价格) ?
Can you guess.(唱两遍)
Ten Yuan for a pair(一双).
Ill take them.
I will sing first, then I will sing together with the students for two or three times.
T: I will give you two minutes to practice the song. Then PK among groups. Look at the rule on the PPT.
PK: The students in each group sing together. If your group sings correctly and beautifully, your group will get one point.
T: OK. Time is up. Are you ready?
Ss: Yes.
T: Lets have a show.
(设计意图:以本节课重点词汇为歌曲的重点内容,不仅可以把重点词汇在本部分解决掉,为下一部分的阅读学习打下基础。同时,歌曲的形式还可以激发学生学习的兴趣,并且以组间PK的形式进行检验,也有利于调动学生的学习积极性。选出“最佳服务员团队”的评价模式,有利于养成学生之间互相带动及合作的学习氛围。)
II. The second task—Matching
T: All shop assistants should know how to match each clothing item with a price, right?
Ss: Yes.
T: Can you show your answers with your partner in conversations like:

Ss: Yes, we can.
T: OK. In this part, we will PK among groups. Look at the rule on PPT.
PK among groups. If your group has no mistakes when making conversations, your group will get one point.
T: Understand?
Ss: Yes.

(设计意图:对于物品与价格匹配部分,我结合本单元重点句式让学生进行操练,不仅有利于学生复习巩固重点内容,同时对后面的阅读学习打下了基础。组间PK模式,更有利于带动学生的学习积极性。)
ⅢThe third task—Reading
1. Fast reading.
T:The weekend is coming. Mr. Cool is a clever boss. So he wants to have a sale. Now there is an ad on the window. You should prepare something for the coming sale. Are you ready?
Ss: Yes.
T: You know. The sale is coming. So the price must be different from before. First, you should fill in the price tags. And the fastest group is the best.
(设计意图:再一次填写物品价格的任务可能会让学生产生厌倦情绪。因此,我向学生解释到,这是在“打特价”,因此价格会变动。这样就可以使学生以更主动的心态,快速地完成任务。同时,哪个组最快哪个组加分的评价模式也有利于激发学生的学习热情。)
2. Detailed reading.
T: A good shop assistant must answer the prices of every clothing item as soon as possible. Do you think so?
Ss: Yes.
T: Now, Lets practice answering the questions.(问题展示在多媒体上。)
(1)How much are the sweaters?
(2)How much are the black trousers ?
(3)How much are the shirts in purple?
(4)How much are the socks?
T: Now, check your answers. How much are the sweaters?
S1: They are only $15.
T: Great. Sit down, please. Where is the answer in the ad? Who can tell me?
S2: We have green sweaters for only $15.
T: Good job. (其他的问题也按照这样的方式进行。)
T: Your answers are all right. How clever you are! Next, practice in your group. One asks and others answer. You can ask other questions as well in the ad. Dont forget well PK.(PK规则展示在屏幕上。)
PK: If your group can make conversations without reading the book and the answers are right, your group will win.
(设计意图:任务型阅读有助于学生进一步理解文章。同时,我追加问题,让学生从广告中找出问题出处的句子,目的是让学生了解广告中表示物品价格的句式。小组内加强练习,更是让学生学会运用句式,为本节课的终极目标——写广告打下基础。组内的对话练习也为任务二做好铺垫。PK的形式加大了难度。有时加大任务的难度可以更好地刺激学生的学习激情,让学生获得学习的成就感和满足感。)
3. Intensive reading.
T: I think a good shop assistant should know how to make customers satisfied. So next, practice the conversations with your partners in your group according to the ad and look at the rule.
PK: If your group can make the conversations most loudly, most correctly and most beautifully, your group will win.

(设计意图:本部分内容继续深化巩固广告内容,使广告的书写更进了一步。同时PK的内容,使学生进一步注重口语的标准,有利于提升学生的口语表达。)
After this part, well see the result, and then give the presents to the best shop assistant team. However, other groups will not be happy.
Ⅳ. The forth task—Writing
T: Dont worry. I still have a big task for you, but this task is not for shop assistants but for bosses. Do you want to have a try?
Ss: Yes.
T: OK. Boys and girls, if you want to be a good boss, you must know how to write an ad for your own shop. Can you do it?
S: Yes, we can.
T: Now, lets do it.

(设计意图:此部分,我抓住了学生不服输的心理。把最大的任务留到最后,大大地激发了学生的写作热情。同时,前面大量的铺垫,也降低了写作的难度,学生基本上都能完成写作内容。)
Step3. Summary.
Sum up the teaching and learning aims by asking the students to read the words, and to sum up how to write an ad.
(设计意图:在总结环节,进一步深化重难点,同时让学生参与总结,有利于培养学生归纳总结的能力。)
Step4. Homework.
①根据课文内容编写对话。 ②给自己的服装店写一则促销广告。
(设计意图:分层作业,符合课标及学生的实际,让不同层次的学生有所收获。)
【教学反思】
本节课通过创设Mr. Cools Clothes Stores assistants 所要完成的系列任务这一情境,来引导学生学习和训练“询问价格、谈论衣物以及感谢他人”三个功能项目,同时PK活动贯穿始终,充分调动了学生的学习积极性和学习热情,体现了以生为本的教学理念。在课上,学生掌握了物品的价格、服务员与顾客之间的对话及如何书写广告。但本节课如果对广告中的重难点句式进行结构分析的话,学生在书写广告时会更加轻松,准确率会更高。
