一、Let’s try

1.T:We know there are different scenery and things in the different seasons. Please look at the pictures.Let’s try on the screen and talk about them in pairs.

S1:Which season is it about Picture 1?

S2: Picture 1 is about spring.

S1: Please talk about spring.

S2:Spring isgreen with flowers and songs.

T:A good answer.Yes,we can plant trees and flowers.It can make our country more beautiful.I like spring best,it’s colorful...

T:Nicework.Weshould protect the environment and then we can enjoy four seasons.

(师生经过充分讨论,培养了学生的观察能力和语言运用能力,把握图中不同季节所含不同信息,帮助学生养成分析图片信息的习惯,提高学生读图并甄别信息、获取有效信息的能力。)

2. T:Zhang Peng likes painting. He and John are looking at some pictures.Which is Zhang Peng’s picture?Listen carefully and gain the main idea.

(培养学生初步通过听力理解获取Let’s try主要内容的能力。)

T:What’s the main idea of let’s try?Who can tell us?

S1: Zhang Peng likes spring.

S2:The trees are green.

S3: There are lots of flowers.

T:Welldone.You are great.

3.Listen again and tick,give me your answer.Check the answer together.Please tell me why you choose Picture 1,Picture 2 or Picture 3.

T: Which season does Zhang Peng like best?

S1:Zhang Peng likes spring best,Picture 1 is right.

T:Thank you.Why do you choose Picture 1?

S1:Zhang Peng likes spring best.

T:Which is Zhang Peng’s picture?

T&Ss:Picture 1.

(按照学生“学”的规律,设置合适的学习坡度,让不同水平的学生都有参与课堂活动的机会,学有所获,印证以上听力策略,增强学生学习英语的自信心。)

二、Let’s talk

1.T:Amy and Miss White are talking about seasons.Please listen carefully and answer the questions on the screen.Show the questions on PPT.

(1)Amy likes______best.

(2)Why does Miss White like summer best?

(任务驱动,运用关键词预测关键的句子,找到问题的答案,把握对话的重难点,例如,Amy,Miss White和 best等。)

2.Teach the key words,the key phrase and the sentence patterns.

T:Which season does Amy like best?

S1:Autumn.

T:Amy likes autumn best.Good job.(竖起大拇指,板书并教读“Good job”,交换使用“Good job,Great,Welldone,Good,Very good”,让学生感知“Good job”的意思。)

T:Why do I like spring?Because it’s warm and sunny.I can plant beautiful flowers.Why do I like summer?Because it’s hot,I can swim...(教师板书并教读why和because,反复使用why和because造句。)Who can try to answer Question 2?S2,could you help me?

S2:OK,...

T&Ss:Let’sdoaskand answerbyusing“why”and“because”.(找出一名学优生,师生做如下示范对话并板书。)

S:Whichseasondoyou like best?

T:I like spring best.

S:Why?

T:Because the weather is good.

3.T:Please do pair work according to our dialogue and show your results.

4.T:I’m a teacher.Why do I like summer?Because I like summer vacation.(教师板书并教读:summer vacation)

T:Why do I like winter,too? Because I like winter vacation,too. Please do pair work by using“Why do you...?”“Because...”.

(创设情境,把新词融入到具体的情境中适度扩展,如winter vacation。及时操练,巩固习得新知。)

5.T:Listen again and repeat it one by one.(教师在学生跟读的时间内及时板书。)Which season do you like best?(让学生四人一组补全黑板上的表格,分组互评。)

(依托文本,回归课文,根据学生的自我评价调控教学环节。)

6.T:Divideyou into5 groups.Practice in groups.(分组、分角色练习完整课文对话。)First T to Ss.Then Ss to T.After that,boys to girls,girls to boys.At last, groups to groups.Ask and answer in roles.

(给学生以操练时间和机会,查漏补缺查找问题,答疑解惑。)

7.Now listen and imitate.Pay attention to your pronunciation.

(再次为学生提供感受自然、地道的语音语调的机会,原声语音的模仿是必不可少的步骤,有利于培养学生优美的语感,为英语的终身学习打下良好的基础。)

8.T:Let’sdopairwork with your desk-mate according to the chart above.One is Miss White,The other is Amy.Go.(教师让两人一组,运用表格关键词创编对话,做循环连锁训练。)

S1:Which season do you like best?

S2:I like autumn best.

S1:Great.Why?

S2:Because the weather is good and the colours are beautiful.

S2:Which season do you like best?

S1:I like summer best.

S2:Good job.Why?

S1:Because I like summer vacation.

(学用结合,及时巩固,深度操练,生生互评,强化合作。)

9.讲解重难点句子

Why? Because I like summer vacation.为什么?因为我喜欢暑假。Because意为“因为,所以”,它引导的句子用来回答why引导的问句。要注意的是,so也可意为“因为,所以”,但because和so不能用于同一个句子中。如:

—Why do you like spring?你为什么喜欢春天?

—Because I can go on a picnic.因为我可以去野餐。

10.Look atthe screen.Please make up your own dialogue.Then show your“Let’s talk”with your partner.
