把握思维主线,打造合理课堂

《牛津小学英语5B》Unit7“A busy day”EFGH部分是综合复习板块。笔者从纷杂的知识中理出一条主线:the teachers busy day——the students busy day——Davids busy day。
课堂伊始,由“Class begins.”引出学习begin,并赠言A good beginning is half done.接着利用Bomb game暖场,复习时间的英文读法。
然后开始介绍my busy day:“My name is...I am a...I like...I get up at...I go to school at...I have lunch at...I go home at...I go to bed at...Im busy from six in the morning to eleven at night.”其中让学生朗读“英文时刻”,再次复习表达方式。
接着过渡到学生“忙碌的一天”。上课前已经请学生填好时刻,上课时只需要直接朗读,同时要求其他同学听写时间,培养记录关键词的能力,争当最佳听众。
然后,请David出场。以David的口吻复数A部分课文:David gets up at and goes to school at .He some bread him. He has lunch at .Then,he and Mike clean the library.They watch a football game at .Now,he is doing his homework.He is busy today.课堂随即引入第三人称讨论范畴,这样Sam出场就不显突兀。
图片展示Sams busy day.学生与Sam的经历类似,看图片会有直观切身的感受。然后以listen and match的形式检验学生能否快速而正确地抓住关键词,听懂时间表达法并及时口头表达。同时学习Classes begin,以及第三人称单数后面动词加s或者es的表达形式。之后,听读课文录音,一句一句指导朗读,特别是动词变化后的发音。最后,请学生解说Sams busy day,检查E部分学习情况。
笔者以谚语“All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.”过渡到G部分。PPT呈现书本图片,David与小伙伴乘坐小汽车去Star Park.学生情绪由此放松,大声念道: “Lets go to the party by car.”通过car,park,party,star理解感受/ɑ:/的发音。然后请学生试着朗读“Lets go to the party at Star Park by car.”接着拓展几个含有ar字母组合的单词,如are,card,farmer等。再请学生根据发音规律挑战几个中英文都比较有趣的单词:bar,Mars,far。最后请学生找出所学类似单词,自己编一句话,并与全班分享,听众数数看听到几个/ɑ:/音就加几星,充分调动学生学习主动性和积极性,课堂气氛活跃。此环节最好要求学生进行预习准备,提高课堂效率。
教师以“Time for games! ”过渡到fun time。教师从3个不同的盒子里各拿出1张小纸条,然后连成一句话并大声读出来。句型是××× es/s at . 并请学生集体重复一遍,锻炼学生听力和口语。教师再用中文解释一遍。由于人物(该班孩子名字)、动作和时间的不确定性,这句话非常有趣。然后请学生上台继续游戏,课堂掀起一个小高潮。该环节既生动活泼,又复习了动词的第三人称单数形式和时间,寓教于乐。
Tick, tock, tick, tock...用钟表滴答声巧妙引入H部分。学生也自然而然地跟着念起来tick, tock, tick, tock...教师说: “How time flies!” 指着H部分图片的钟问道: “Whats the time now?” 有学生能回答: “Its 7:50. Time for shower.”通过学习flower,shower,have a shower,拓展 “April shower for May flowers.” 最后看动画学习rhyme,朗朗上口。
课堂的升华部分为描写XXs busy day. 筆者以my mothers busy day为例:Hello, everyone. My name is ... There are ... people in my family. My mother has a busy day. She gets up at ... She goes to work at...She has lunch at .... She comes home at ... She does a lot for my family. She is so busy. I love my... 请学生仿写,活动由口头转为笔头练习。上课时值母亲节,学生更有感而发,字里行间流淌出表达对忙碌的父母们的真情实感。
最后,教师引导学生总结时间和动词的第三人称单数表达方式。
总之,通过主线这个树干,串联EFGH部分各个知识点,使课堂既有层次又合理,帮助学生更轻松有效地学习。
