2010年2月12—13日，在西藏日喀则樟木镇海拔2 070 m及1 900 m处的公路旁分别观察并拍摄到一种鸟类。根据观察资料及所拍照片，鉴定为黑颏穗鹛（Stachyris pyrrhops）（图1）。经查阅文献（Zheng, 2002; Zheng, 2005）属鹟科(Turdinae)画鹛亚科(Timaliinae) 穗鹛属(Stachyris)的中国鸟类新记录，特此报道。

1 形态特征

体长约10 cm；眼先及颏和上喉呈黑色；前额、头顶至后颈暗黄褐色；头颈两侧、颊纹和腹部淡黄褐色，上胸部沾暗黄褐色；上体羽表面橄榄灰绿黄色；尾较翅长，飞羽及尾羽表面黄褐色；嘴形较直，除上嘴基部灰蓝色外，其他部分为角质色；脚浅肉红色。

2 讨 论

据文献记载：“黑颏穗鹛体长约10 cm，属小型鹛类，颏及眼先黑色，羽冠橄榄黄褐色，具深色纵纹；耳羽淡黄褐色；上体橄榄褐色，下体桔黄褐色，但缺少红褐色”(Grimmett et al, 1999b)。“虹膜红色，脚浅肉褐色，两性相似，幼鸟体色较暗淡，黑色部分被灰色代替”(Hoyo et al, 2007)。与观察及照片上的特征基本相符。

黑颏穗鹛（Stachyris pyrrhops）在Zheng (1986, 2002)的《世界鸟类名称》及Zheng (2002)的《世界鸟类分类与分布名录》中，所列中文名为“红嘴穗鹛”，英文名为“Red-billed Babbler”；而在Ali & Ripley(1971)、Dickinson (2003)、Grimmett et al (1999a, b)、Hoyo et al (2007)、Inskipp et al (1996)、Sibley & Monroe (1990)等文献中，均将其英文名记录为Black-chinned Babbler（黑颏穗鹛），其中多数文献将Red-billed Babbler作为该种的英文曾用名。

结合其形态特征，我们认为应将该种的中文名定为“黑颏穗鹛”更为确切。

据Hoyo et al (2007)记述：黑颏穗鹛栖息于林缘或开阔的次生林下层，成对或8—9只结群活动，常与其他鸟类一起混群，在林中接近地面的植物上或地面上活动，以昆虫为食，有时也取食浆果等。繁殖期4—8月，在灌丛的0.6—1.5 m处营巢，通常产卵3—4枚。在我们的两次目击过程中，黑颏穗鹛均以单只形式出现在由白尾币鸟（Sitta himalayensis）、绿背山雀（Parus monticolus）、金眶鹟莺（Seicercus burkii）、灰头鹟莺（Seicercus xanthoschistos）、红翅贝鸟 鹛（Pteruthius flaviscapis）、黑顶奇鹛（Heterophasia capistrata）、剑嘴鹛（Xiphirhynchus superciliaris）、棕颈钩嘴鹛（Pomatorhinus ruficollis）、白眉雀鹛（Alcippe vinipectus）、栗头雀鹛（Alcippe castaneceps）等种类组成的混群中，活动于阔叶林缘的灌丛下层。

黑颏穗鹛为单型种，分布于巴基斯坦、印度和尼泊尔。在中国目前仅记录于西藏自治区日喀则地区的聂拉木县樟木镇。
