纪念中欧文化交流50年第三届重庆国际现当代艺术邀请展举行

On July 8, the 3Chongqing International Modern and Contemporary Art Exhibition opened in Chongqing (Xiyong) Foreign Culture and Trade Base.The exhibition is co-hosted by Chongqing Hongyi Jiuzhou International Culture and Art Center, Chongqing (Xiyong) Foreign Cultural Trade Base, and Pashmin Art of Germany, and organized by Hong Art Museum. Relevant persons in charge of the consulates-general of the Netherlands and Italy in Chongqing and Chengdu as well as persons from the art circle attended the event.

“In international art activities, we have tried to enable a cultural dialogue between countries. Now we have built an artistic bridge between China and Europe in Chongqing, the capital of bridges in China.” In his video message, Nour Nouri,Director of Pashmin Art of Germany, said that until today, European art has witnessed the thinking of several generations. Today, the various art forms seen here tell us a lot about the infinite possibilities of creation. Adhering to the philosophy that art knows no borders, we hope to expand cultural exchange between people through art to improve their awareness of multiculturalism.

7月8日，第三届重庆国际现当代艺术邀请展在重庆（西永）对外文化贸易基地启幕。本次展览由泓艺九洲国际文化艺术中心、重庆（西永）对外文化贸易基地和德国帕斯敏艺术联盟共同主办，泓美术馆承办。荷兰、意大利等驻渝蓉总领事馆相关负责人，以及艺术界相关人士出席。

“Culture promotes connectivity and helps countries understand each other better.”,Wolfgang Rudischhauser, German Consul-General in Chengdu, said in his video speech. He pointed out since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, the artistic and cultural exchange between Europe and China as well as between Germany and China have been affected. It is therefore especially gratifying that Pashmin Art and its partners in Chongqing have successfully held this exhibition again. This is also an important contribution to international cultural exchanges. Meanwhile, the event is hoped to provide an opportunity for the two sides to deepen mutual understanding and promote exchanges and cooperation.

“Cultural exchanges and cooperation are an important part of the China-EU Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, playing an irreplaceable role in enhancing mutual understanding between the Chinese and European people and enhancing the value of Chinese-EU relations.” Wei Dong, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of Chongqing Artists Association, said that in the new era, a broader view of cultural development has brought more dynamism and prosperity to our cultural and artistic exchanges with the world, endowing Chongqing with a more open and inclusive cultural development pattern..

According to the organizers, the exhibition has brought together exquisite works of modern and contemporary art in the world, including nearly 400 works by 50 artists from 14 countries including China, Italy, Austria, the United Kingdom, France,Germany, Indonesia, Latvia, and the Netherlands. It is hoped that the exhibition can build a communication platform across different cultures, present people’s good wishes for exchanges and cooperation, world peace and the unity and development of future generations, and honor the 50 years of cultural exchange between China and Europe.

Supported by Chongqing (Xiyong) Foreign Cultural Trade Base, the Hongyi Jiuzhou International Culture and Art Center held the 1and 2Chongqing International Modern and Contemporary Art Exhibitions in January 2020 and September 2021, respectively, proudly exhibiting the development results and rich resources of the cultural trade industry in Xiyong Free Trade Zone.

“在国际艺术活动中，我们试图构建国家之间文化对话。现在我们在中国‘桥都’重庆架起了这座中欧之间的艺术桥梁。”德国帕斯敏艺术联盟主任努尔·努里在视频致辞中称，直到今天，欧洲艺术已经经历了好几代人的思想。如今，在这里看到的各种艺术形式都在告诉我们创造的无限可能性。帕斯敏艺术联盟的宗旨是艺术无国界，我们希望通过艺术扩大人与人之间的文化交流，以提高对多元文化的理解。

“文化促进连接，有助于国与国之间的相互理解。”德国驻成都总领事沃尔夫冈·鲁迪施豪瑟在视频致辞中表示，自新冠肺炎疫情暴发以来，欧洲与中国之间、德国与中国之间的艺术和文化交流受到影响。帕斯敏艺术画廊与重庆的伙伴再次成功地举办此次展览，尤其令人欣慰，这也是为国际文化交流作出的重要贡献。同时，也希望以此为契机，加深彼此了解、促进交流合作。

“文化交流与合作是中欧全面战略伙伴关系的重要组成部分，在增进中欧人民之间的相互了解，和提升中欧关系的价值方面发挥着不可替代的作用。”重庆美协副主席兼秘书长魏东说，新时期以来更为开阔的文化发展观，让我们与国际的文化艺术交流变得更加活跃与繁盛，也赋予重庆这座城市更加开放、包容的文化发展格局。

据主办方介绍，本届邀请展汇聚世界现当代艺术的精美佳作，包括中国、意大利、奥地利、英国、法国、德国、印度尼西亚、拉脱维亚、荷兰等14个国家50名艺术家的近400件艺术作品。希望通过这场展览搭建不同文化的沟通平台，呈现当下人们对交流合作、世界和平以及后代团结发展的美好心愿，并以此纪念中欧文化交流50年。

泓艺九洲国际文化艺术中心以重庆（西永）对外文化贸易基地为支撑，于2020年1月、2021年9月成功举办第一届、第二届重庆国际现当代艺术邀请展，积极展现自贸区文化贸易产业的发展成果和丰富资源。
