[Abstract] Objective To investigate the clinical effect of concurrent radiotherapy and chemotherapy with fluorouracil combined with cisplatin (PF) and paclitaxel combined with cisplatin (TP) in the treatment of cervical cancer. Methods A total of 96 patients with cervical cancer admitted to our hospital were enrolled. All patients received concurrent radiotherapy and chemotherapy. The treatment period was from September 2017 to December 2019. According to the stratified sampling grouping method, the patients were divided into group A and group B, with 48 cases in each group. Group A received PF chemotherapy, and group B received TP chemotherapy. The clinical effects of the two chemotherapy programs were compared. Results The total effective rate in group B was 87.50%,which was higher than that of 72.92% in group A, and the difference was significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the levels of carbohydrate antigen (CA) 125 and CA199 between group A and group B before treatment (P>0.05). After treatment, the levels of CA125 and CA199 in group B were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was significant(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the positive rate between group A and group B before treatment (P>0.05). After treatment, the positive rate in group B was lower than that in group A, and the difference was significant(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between group A and group B (P>0.05). Conclusion Both PF and TP can exert significant therapeutic effects in concurrent radiotherapy and chemotherapy for cervical cancer. However, TP chemotherapy can further regulate the body′s CA125 and CA199 levels and positive rate while ensuring patient safety, which has a more significant treatment advantage.
