Fast Track
—— New Column Launched by CJA
2019-11-29
Chinese Journal of Aeronauticsnow provides an opportunity for authors to publish fast track manuscripts with each less than 4 printed pages. The manuscript that may be considered as a fast track one should meet at least one of the following criteria:
1.addressing a new and interesting problem of fundamental importance in aeronautics;
2.reporting a striking new finding such as a new flow phenomenon of fundamental importance;
3.providing a new numerical method or model (such as turbulence model) that substantially improves the previous method or model and that can be easily implemented or used in the future studies;
4.presenting an analytical method of physical background and engineering importance, which is applicable in aeronautics.
In any case, a fast track paper must be clearly written, and the reported results should be clearly displayed so that readers can easily use and reproduce these results.
Only high scientific quality and well written manuscripts will be considered. Manuscripts submitted as fast track papers are thus screened by Editors, and those papers not meeting our standards will be rejected immediately without being sent out for peer review. The average period for reviewing fast track manuscripts is three weeks. An accepted fast track manuscript is published online within six weeks of acceptance.
