【Abstract】 Objective To discuss the practical value of loop electrosurgical excisional procedure (LEEP) knife combined with recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor (rb-bFGF) gel in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia. Methods A total of 100 cervical intraepithelial neoplasia patients were divided by random number table method into research group and control group, with 50 cases in each group. The research group was treated with LEEP knife combined with rb-bFGF gel, and the control group was treated with LEEP knife. Comparison was made on clinical efficacy, wound healing condition and occurrence of postoperative complications between the two groups. Results The research group had higher total effective rate of clinical treatment as 98.00%(49/50) than 84.00%(42/50) in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The research group had shorter preliminary healing time of wound hemostasis and scab formation as (8.09±2.37) d than (17.74±3.47) d in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The research group had less amount of vaginal hemorrhage than the control group and shorter duration of vaginal bleeding than the control group. Their difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The research group had lower incidence of complications as 2%(1/50) than 16%(8/50) in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion LEEP knife combined with rb-bFGF gel treatment is helpful to promote wound healing of patients with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, improve clinical efficacy, and reduce the incidence of complications. It is worthy of clinical promotion.
