这个公司办公大楼采用双层表皮外墙,既是适应气候的战略,也是社会联系的纽带。外层立面由带有水培托盘的定制铸造铝格栅和集成滴灌系统组成,用于种植各种植物。格栅还具有集成的雾化系统,控制和调节释放到植物的水量和时间。这种活态幕墙系统给进入建筑物的空气加湿,通过遮阳和蒸发吸热来给室内空气调温,并在海得拉巴炎热多风的夏季清洁立面的灰尘。通过这种方式,该建筑展示了南亚炎热干燥的气候中长久沿用的传统湿表面冷却系统的相关应用。建筑的内表皮是钢筋混凝土框架与标准铝窗。

This corporate building employs a double-skin façade as both a strategy of climate mitigation and a social connector. The outer façade is comprised of a custom-cast aluminum trellis with hydroponic trays and integrated drip irrigation for growing a variety of plant species. The trellis also has an integrated misting system that controls and regulates the timing and amount of water released to the plants.This living-screen system humidifies the air entering the building, conditioning the interiors through sun shading and evaporative cooling and cleansing the façade of dust in the hot and windy summer months in Hyderabad. In this way, the building demonstrates the relevant application of traditional cooling systems of humidified surfaces used over time in the hot and dry climates of South Asia. The inner skin of the building is a reinforced concrete frame with standard aluminum windows.
The screen also takes on the aesthetic function of a dynamic façade. Assorted species of climbing plants create patterns, blooming at different times of the year, bringing attention to various parts of the building throughout the changing seasons. The building façade is also a space of visual porosity,connecting two very socially and economically disparate groups of workers: the building's gardeners,who maintain the façade, and the corporate employees and office workers within. Thus, the image of the building depends on the work of the maintenance stafi, who sit at the lowest level of the company hierarchy, and who maintain a persistent presence throughout the building. The porous façade provides a social interface that softens the common hierarchical divisions created by class differences in a typical corporate organisation in India.□

程晓喜:这座建筑令人印象深刻的是立面极致的“双层皮”做法。外层的绿色植物幕墙在当地炎热干燥的气候条件下显得非常合宜。不同于发达地区绿色幕墙的高技派处理,此处的设计采用了当地相对低成本的焊接铝合金构造和日常人工维护植物立面的方式,并充分考虑了维护人员的工作空间。能够把立面维护操作摆上台面,让内层界面隔离的两个空间得以“对视”并同步运转,无疑是社会文明的进步。

CHENG Xiaoxi:The impressive thing about this building is the exquisite "double skin" façade. The outer curtain wall of green plants seems very suitable in the local hot and dry climate conditions. Unlike the high-tech treatment of green curtain walls in developed areas, the design here adopts the relatively low-cost local welding aluminum structure and daily manual maintenance of plant on façades, fully considering the workspace of the maintenance stufi. It is undoubtedly a progress of social civilisation to put the façade maintenance operation in the light so that the two spaces separated by the inner interface can "look at each other" and operate synchronously. 王静:项目设计特色集中体现在响应了地域气候的双层表皮系统。表皮不仅外观整体,而且建造合理。简洁的几何划分、巧妙的绿化植入、配合的灌溉技术,使空气在此流动,阳光得以渗入。来自于不同阶层的使用者,在一个充满树影婆娑的人工建筑中,却能感受到人与人平等交往的自然环境与自由气氛。设计充分诠释了生态理念与人文关怀的双重效应。
WANG Jing:The highlight of this project is the double-layer building skin responds to the regional climate. The skin wraps around the building as a whole and can be built reasonably. With the simple geometric partition, ingenious implantation of plants and irrigation technology, the air flows in and the sunlight illuminates the space. In this artificial construction, full of mottled shadow, users from different classes can feel the equal atmosphere and share the same natural environment. The design fully interprets the dual effects of ecological concept and humanistic care.
