在伊朗南部的设拉子有一座莫克清真寺（Masjed-e Nasir-al-Molk），被誉为伊朗南部最优雅、最上镜的清真寺之一。这座清真寺始建于1876年，与其他清真寺相比，它外墙中的粉红彩釉格外突出，因此也被称为粉红清真寺。每天清晨8点到10点，阳光便正好斜穿巨大的彩色玻璃窗，在波斯地毯上洒下美妙而神奇的色彩和光影，此时你若置身寺内，尤其是当那梦幻般的色彩和光影也投射在你身上时，你可能会忍不住说一句：愿此刻停留。

The room is full of carpets because before entering a mosque you first must take off your shoes.

But you can only see the light through the colored glass in the early morning. It was built to catch the morning sun, so that if you visit at noon it will be too late to catch the light. It is like stepping into a dream.

The mosque is called by many different names such as the “Mosque of colours” or the “Kaleidoscope Mosque”. Mostly it is known as the “Pink Mosque”.The building was given this name “Pink Mosque” because many pink9)tiles were used in the inside of the building.

Mosque 清真寺，也称礼拜寺，是伊斯兰教信徒礼拜的地方。清真寺的主体建筑是礼拜大殿，方向朝向麦加克尔白。大殿正面墙中有凹壁，左前方有阶梯形讲坛。较大的清真寺还有宣礼塔。塔顶呈尖形，故称尖塔，作唤拜之用。一般清真寺有1～4个尖塔，土耳其伊斯坦布尔的素丹艾哈迈德清真寺有6塔，麦加圣寺有7塔。还有沐浴用的水房。

Persian carpet 波斯地毯，是伊朗著名的手工业之一，自古就在国际上享有盛誉，以优良的质地、古朴雅致的图案和精美的工艺受到世人的喜爱。据考证，其编织和生产的历史至少已经有2500年。波斯地毯的一大特色是其染料提取自天然植物和矿石，染色经久不褪不变，构图以抽象的植物、伊斯兰文字和几何图案为主。

粉红清真寺由国王米扎尔·哈桑·阿里下令于1876至1888年间建造，目前仍在使用。该寺是一座传统的清真寺，但却是世上最漂亮的建筑之一。
