● 吴康明会见巴基斯坦驻成都总领事穆罕默德·提普

4月26日，市政府外事侨务办主任吴康明会见巴基斯坦驻成都总领事穆罕默德·提普。

吴康明向提普介绍了重庆市经济社会发展情况和重庆与巴基斯坦的交往情况。他说，巴基斯坦驻成都总领事馆开馆以来，与重庆市政府外事侨务办保持了良好的联系与互动，积极发挥桥梁纽带作用，推动重庆与巴基斯坦各领域的交流与合作。重庆有不少企业前往巴基斯坦考察商机，投资合作，领域包括钢铁、水泥、煤炭、汽摩、光伏、LED等。吴康明邀请巴基斯坦驻成都总领事馆参加重庆渝洽会、智博会等重大国际交流活动。

穆罕默德·提普介绍，巴基斯坦现在政局稳定，整体投资环境良好，已有很多中国商人看到机会。希望在重庆市政府外事侨务办的大力支持和帮助下，能有更多重庆商人赴巴投资，更多重庆旅客赴巴旅游。他说，“中国有句谚语，千里之行，始于足下”，今后将进一步拓展渝巴友好关系，深化双边各领域合作前景。

● 王雯与德国驻成都副总领事付安仕举行工作会谈

4月13日，市政府外事侨务办副主任王雯与新任德国驻成都副总领事付安仕举行工作会谈。

王雯向付安仕简要介绍了重庆的经济社会发展情况及未来重点产业发展方向，就双方在高层访问、共建中德产业园，以及深化在智能制造、生态环保、科技、金融、经贸、文化、教育、旅游等领域的合作提出建议，并希望德国驻成都总领事馆邀请德国相关企业、科研机构参加重庆渝洽会、智博会等大型活动。

付安仕表示，他的工作计划有很多方面与王雯的提议不谋而合，德国驻成都总领事馆希望在“一带一路”框架下加强与重庆市政府外事侨务办的联系，共同努力推动重庆和德国在汽车、信息产业、生态环保、友城关系、专业人才交流等领域开展交流与合作。

此外，合川区政府副区长吴景明、市文化委国际处处长王皞参加了本次会谈。

● 唐文与韩国庆尚北道国际通商课课长李相鹤进行工作会谈

4月13日，市政府外事侨务办副主任唐文在重庆市外事大楼与韩国庆尚北道国际通商课课长李相鹤进行工作会谈，商洽推动重庆与庆尚北道的务实合作。

唐文介绍了习近平总书记对重庆提出的“两点”定位、“两地”“两高”目标，以及重庆市经济社会发展情况、主要产业状况、投资环境等。李相鹤说，庆尚北道是韩国面积最大的道，是韩国产业发展的重要助推器和重要的产业基地，希望进一步加强与重庆的友好交流与合作。

据悉，今年起，两地将着力推进庆尚北道优秀留学生申请重庆市市长奖学金项目、重庆青少年赴庆尚北道参加国际青少年夏令营活动、重庆公务员赴韩中长期研修、两地高校校际交流、庆尚北道贸易代表团来渝进行商务对接等系列务实合作。

● 驻渝蓉领事官员出席重庆大足石刻国际旅游文化节

4月3日，2018年中国重庆大足石刻国际旅游文化节暨第839届宝顶香会在大足石刻博览园举行。为促进各国总领事馆更好了解重庆市区县旅游资源和民俗文化，推动重庆与有关国家文化交流与合作，应大足区政府邀请，市政府外事侨务办组织了日本驻重庆总领事小松道彦、加拿大驻重庆总领事戴杰豪、新加坡驻成都总领事彭志威、柬埔寨驻重庆总领事马瓦纳，以及菲律宾、匈牙利等国驻渝蓉领事官员一行13人参加此次活动。

领事官员一行参观了大足石刻博物馆、世界文化遗产宝顶山石刻，深入了解了大足石刻的悠久历史和深厚底蕴。大足区区长卢勇向各国领事官员介绍了大足区经济社会发展情况，希望借助领馆资源更好地宣传推介大足区，促进大足区对外交流与合作。各国领事官员表示，将积极宣传推介大足石刻，推荐本国代表团访问大足，促进交流、深化友谊，架起中外人文交流的桥梁。

● 两家单位成功创建“全国为侨公共服务体系示范单位”

市政府外事侨务办组织市、区两级验收组，对沙坪坝区渝碚路街道和大渡口区春晖路街道阳光社区创建2017年度“全国为侨公共服务体系示范单位”进行验收并组织授牌，最终两家单位以优异成绩荣获此项“国字号”荣誉。市政府外事侨务办副主任杨大庆出席有关活动。

国务院侨办2017年首次设立“全国为侨公共服务体系示范单位”创建活动，得到市政府外事侨务办积极响应，通过完善各项工作步骤，确保创建对象工作基础扎实、侨务资源集中、品牌亮点突出、示范作用明显，受到国务院侨办的高度肯定。

Wu Kangming met with Muhammad Tipu, Consul General of the lslamic Republic of Pakistan in Chengdu

On April 26, Wu Kangming, director of the Municipal Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Government, met with Muhammad Tipu, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Chengdu.

Wu Kangming briefed Tipu on the economic and social development of Chongqing and the contacts between Chongqing and Pakistan. He said that Pakistan has been maintaining good contact and interaction with the Municipal Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Government,actively playing a role as a bridge, and promoting exchanges and cooperation between Chongqing and Pakistan in various fi elds since the opening of the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Chengdu. Many enterprises in Chongqing have traveled to Pakistan to inspect business opportunities, invest and seek for cooperation. The fi elds include steel, cement, coal,automobile and motorcycle, photovoltaic, and LED. Wu Kangming invited the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Chengdu to participate in major international exchange activities such as China Chongqing International Investment and Global Sourcing Fair and the China (Chongqing) Intelligent Manufacturing Technology and Equipment Expo, etc.

Muhammad Tipu said that the political situation of Pakistan is now stable and the overall investment environment is preferable.Many Chinese businessmen have seen opportunities. It is hoped that more Chongqing businessmen will be able to invest in Pakistan and more Chongqing tourists will travel to Pakistan with the strong support and help of the Municipal Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Government. He said: “There is a saying in China, ‘A journey in a thousand miles begins with a single step’.” In the future,the friendly relations between the two countries will be further expanded and the prospects for bilateral cooperation in various fi elds will be broadened.

Wang Wen held a working meeting with Deputy Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Chengdu

On April 13, Wang Wen, deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Municipal Government, held a working meeting with the new Deputy Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Chengdu.

Wang Wen briefed the Deputy Consul General on Chongqing’s economic and social development and the direction of key industries in the future, provided proposals on highlevel visits, jointly building a Sino-German industrial park, and deepening the cooperation of smart manufacturing, ecology,science and technology, finance, economy and trade, culture,education and tourism, etc. and hoped that the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Chengdu will invite German companies and research institutes to participate in major activities, such as China Chongqing International Investment and Global Sourcing Fair and the China (Chongqing) Intelligent Manufacturing Technology and Equipment Expo, etc.

The Deputy Consul General stated that he happened to hold the same view with Wang Wen in his work plan. The Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Chengdu hopes to strengthen cooperation with the Municipal Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Government under the framework of the “Belt and Road Initiative” with an aim to jointly propel the exchange and cooperation between Chongqing and Germany in the fields of automobile, information industry,eco-environment protection, friendly city relations, professional talents exchange, etc..

In addition, Wu Jingming, deputy head of the Hechuan District Government, and Wang Hao, director of the International Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal Culture Commission attended the meetings.

Tang Wen held a working meeting with Li Xianghe, Director of the lnternational Business Department of North Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea

On April 13, Tang Wen, deputy director of the Municipal Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Government, held a working meeting with Li Xianghe, director of the International Business Department of Gyeongsangbuk-do of South Korea in Chongqing Foreign Affairs Building to negotiate the pragmatic cooperation between Chongqing and Gyeongsangbuk-do.

Tang Wen introduced the objectives of “two points”, “two places” and “high-quality of two aspects” proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping, (two points: the important stronghold of developing-the-west strategy, the special junction point of the“Belt and Road Initiative” and the Yangtze River Economic Belt;two places: inland opening-up height, the picturesque land; highquality of two aspects: high-quality development, high-quality life),as well as Chongqing’s economic and social development, major industry conditions, and investment environment. Li Xianghe said that Gyeongsangbuk-do is the largest “do” (similar to the province in China) in South Korea and is an important booster and industrial base for South Korean industrial development. He hopes to further strengthen friendly exchanges and cooperation with Chongqing.

It is reported that from this year onwards, the two places will work hard to advance outstanding students from Gyeongsangbukdo to apply for the Chongqing Mayor Scholarship Program and the youths from Chongqing to participate in international youth summer camps in Gyeongsangbuk-do, encourage Chongqing civil servants to go to South Korea for long-term studies and exchanges between universities from two places, propel Gyeongsangbuk-do trade delegations to conduct business cooperation in Chongqing and other pragmatic cooperation.

Consular officers attended Chongqing Dazu Rock Carving lnternational Tourism and Culture Festival

On April 3, the 2018 China Chongqing Dazu Rock Carving International Tourism and Culture Festival and the 839th Incense Meeting was held at the Dazu Stone Engraving Expo Park. In order to facilitate the Consulate Generals of the countries to better understand the tourism resources and folklore culture of counties in Chongqing and promote cultural exchanges and cooperation between Chongqing and relevant countries, the Municipal Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Government has organized Consul General of the Japan in Chongqing, Komatsu Michihiko,Consul General of Canada in Chongqing, Jeff David, Consul General of Singapore in Chengdu, Peng Zhiwei, Consul General of Royal Cambodia in Chongqing, Marwana and 13 consular officials from consulates of the Philippines and Hungary in Chongqing to participate in the event at the invitation of Dazu Goverment.

They have visited the Dazu Rock Carving Museum and the World Cultural Heritage, the Baoding Mountain Stone Carving and learned more about the long history and profound heritage of the Dazu Rock Carving. Lu Yong, governor of the Dazu District, briefed the consular officials of various countries on the economic and social development of the Dazu District. He hopes to better promote Dazu District with the resort to the resources of the consulates and accelerate the exchange and cooperation between Dazu District and other places. Consular officials from various countries stated that they will actively promote and recommend Dazu Rock Carvings, recommend their delegations to visit Dazu so as to promote exchanges, deepen friendship and bridge the cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.

The two units successfully set up “National Demonstration Unit for Overseas Chinese Public Service System”

The Municipal Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Government organized an acceptance team at the municipal and district levels to inspect and organize awards of “2017 National Demonstration Unit for Overseas Chinese Public Service Systems” for Yupei Sub-district Office in Shapingba District and Sunshine Community of Chunhui Sub-district Office in Dadukou District. In the end, the two units won the national honor. Yang Daqing, deputy director of the Municipal Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Government attended relevant activities.

In 2017, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council established the “National Demonstration Unit for Overseas Chinese Public Service System” for the first time, which has been actively responded to by the Municipal Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Government. And the Municipal Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Government has been highly recognized by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council for perfecting various work procedures,ensuring a solid foundation of setting up demonstration units activities, concentrating overseas Chinese resources,highlighting prominent brands and well playing outstanding demonstration role.
