The Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC), also known as the Beijing International Arbitration Center (BIAC), was established in 1995 as a non-governmental arbitration institution, and became the fi rst self-funded Chinese arbitration institution in 1999. It provides institutional support as an independent and neutral venue for the conduct of domestic and international arbitration and ADR proceedings. It is operated by a Secretariat headed by its Secretary General under the supervision of its Committee. The BAC/BIAC Arbitration Rules 2015 were unveiled on December 4, 2014, and came into force on April 1, 2015. The 2015 rules widely adopt UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules and further accept up-to-date international practice.

All disputes arising from or in connection with this contract shall be submitted to Beijing Arbitration Commission / Beijing International Arbitration Center for arbitration in accordance with its rules of arbitration in effect at the time of applying for arbitration. The arbitral award is fi nal and binding upon both parties.
