Step 1.Warming up(启动环节)
1.Free talk.
T:Good afternoon, boys and girls.Look here,where is China?Yes,it’s in the east of Asia.It’s our motherland.It’s famous for the Great Wall and giant panda. Chinese people speak Chinese.There are many other countries in the world,such as the USA...

设计意图:教师通过展示地球仪,引导学生们在地图上找到自己的国家,并谈论中国的特色。自由交谈中营造轻松的开课氛围,教师走入学生中间,拉近彼此之间的距离。
2.Brain storming
Let’s look and say quickly.What country is this?
Ss:USA,UK,Australia...
设计意图:“头脑风暴”活动中,根据国家特色景物或者事物快速辨别国家,激活学生的思维和已有的知识经验。
T:We’ll talk about Countries around the world today.Then tellthe studentsthe assessment standard.
集体评价:课一开始教师张贴不同国家的海报(翻面,未透露内容),在全班同学的共同努力下,逐一展示。 个体评价:教师将自己精心准备的各个国家的明信片给学生作为个体评价。
设计意图:将话题与评价内容相结合,用逐步展示海报的形式进行评价;将个人评价与话题相结合,在最终的拓展运用环节得以应用,首尾呼应。既凸显了本课的主题,又让学生感受到实现目标后的成功和喜悦。
Step 2.Presentation(呈现环节)
1.Watch the cartoon(without subtitles)

教学指导策略:教师把学生带入熟悉的课文情境中,使其快速进入主动思考与学习状态。
T:Whatdo you know aboutCanada?WhatdoesBill know about Canada? Let’s watch.
Canada Australia (boardwriting)
设计意图:第一遍整体感知对话文本时,以无字幕视频的形式呈现。学生在课文情景中整体感知和理解对话大意。
2.Watch the cartoon(the part of Canada with subtitles)
To complete the charton the board and show the students the key sentences:What do you know about...?It’s famous for... People there speak... It’sin the southeast of... You can...(board-writing)
T:What do you know about Canada?
Ss:Canada is a big country. It’s famous for maple leaves.They are beautiful.People there speak English and French.Toronto isa big city.It’s in the southeast of Canada.You can visit the CN Tower there.
设计意图:欣赏着美丽的风景,在优美的乐曲中教师和学生就Canada的信息进行交流,激发学生对美好事物的向往。
Show the students a poster ofCanada and talk aboutthe Niagara Falls and the maple syrup.
3.Listen and circle.(the part of Australia)
T:We know so much about Canada. What about Australia?Let’s listen and circle the key words.
According to the answers from the students,I finish the charton the board.Then ask and answer.

Show the students a poster of Australia.
设计意图:本课对话文本篇幅较长,虽然话轮不多,但信息量非常大。在呈现时采用了先整体呈现,再按国家顺序逐一呈现的方式,逐步处理文本信息点和功能句。问题设置的目的在于引出本节课的功能句型。在教授新句型的过程中,教师引导学生词不离句,句不离景地感知新语言。
Step 3.Practice(操练环节)
1.Let’s listen and read in roles.
2.Let’s read and present in roles.
3.Let’sprepare and act in roles.
设计意图:此环节运用了三步递进的方式来引导学生操练对话。通过听音、模仿跟读对话,小组合作朗读对话、分角色表演对话这三步,让学生在体验角色的同时达到主动运用语言的目的。教师提供给学生朗读和表演小贴士,让学生有法可依。在操练的过程中,学生可以互相检查各自的语音、语调。教师对学生进行针对性指导,让不同层次学生的语言表达能力都有所发展。当三步递进的课文操练活动结束后,教师的评价及时跟进,展示3张不同国家的海报。
Step 4.Production(运用环节)

2.Talk about the local students’travel plan of winter vacation.
T:Winter vacation is coming,where do you want to go?Why?What do you know about it?
T:Let’s move and find your destination. Talk about your travel plan in groups.
设计意图:在真实的情境中,教师与学生谈论寒假旅行意向。在谈论过程中,教师引导学生回顾板书上的关键点,提醒学生以此作为之后任务的语言支持。设计真实任务使学生学以致用,凸显语用。此任务让学生实际运用所学语言。学生在此环节需要移动到自己想去国家的小组,与新的组员一起谈论旅行的初步计划。学生利用教师给他们准备好的资源作为支持,按照教师提供的思维逻辑谈论顺序进行整体描述。当一个小组在前展示的时候,其他学生要根据这个小组的描述进行评论。这个活动既有小组的任务,又有全班的参与。

设计意图:不仅让学生将课堂所学及时巩固和落实,而且鼓励学生进行课下延伸。通过课上所得到的各国明信片,增进对世界各国特点的理解,根据教师提供的网址,查找更多关于自己最喜欢国家的旅游资讯,并且选出自己心目中的三大旅游圣地,以备下节课进行交流。最后的歌曲升华主题,丰富学生的情感。
评价与反思
1.本节课达成预设的教学目标,教学效果好。
2.可取之处:
●文化氛围浓厚。情境的创设、板书、教具、评价手段和多媒体资源的运用,让学生全方位浸润在一个文化交融的大语境中,感知、理解、内化并习得语言。
●学习方式多样。既有小组合作,又有大组合作;既可固定搭档又能更换搭档,给学生更大的自主学习空间。
●教学方式开放。将课上所学延伸到课后的真实生活中,为学生提供了更丰富的学习资源,让学生真正学以致用。
3.需要改进的地方
受时间所限未能在拓展环节让学生动手操作,如果可以的话,让学生亲手制作旅行计划图,会给学生提供更大的思维和表达空间。
