Devon Energy Corp. CFO, Jeff Ritenour

Ritenour has been with Devon since 2001 and he has served in numerous leadership positions and in various financial and commercial roles, including senior vice president of investor relations and vice president of acquisitions and divestitures.“I’m excited to take on the additional responsibilities of CFO,” Ritenour said. “I look forward to working with the executive management team and serving Devon’s shareholders. Devon has a strong finance team, and we’re well-situated to build upon our financial position as we successfully execute our operational strategy.”

Maybank CFO, Datuk Amirul Feisal Wan Zahir

Group CFO Datuk Amirul Feisal Wan Zahir said Maybank undertakes a careful management of its assets and liabilities. “The deposits growth has been supported by low-cost current account and savings account (CASA) growth. The group’s liquidity coverage ratio stood at 134% as at end-March 2017”. This was well above Bank Negara Malaysia’s requirement of 80% for the year 2017.Feisal said,“We have actually seen our NIM expand nine basis points from 2.34%a year ago, arising from our disciplined loan pricing and ability to reduce our cost of funding by focusing on CASA growth.”

Avid Technology recently completed the “transformation” of its business that started four years ago and the company is now well-positioned for future growth,according to CFO Brian Agle. “The transformation was all centered on moving to growth markets that would better position us for the future,” he said. But he stressed: “The thing that probably is of most importance from a product and customer standpoint from the transformation — that really sets the stage for growth markets as well as our recurring revenue that we’re seeing now — is our Avid MediaCentral Platform.”
