一、文体概述
求助信指当个人遇到问题无法解决时向别人求助或请别人代劳自己无法完成的事情的一种书信,通常包括求助与请求两种形式。其内容一般为:直言目的(求助/请求)—— 描述困难——希望得到帮助并表示感激——(联系方式)。写作时应注意求助目的的表述要清楚明了,语气要真诚、委婉。
二、必备短语
1. ask sb. a favor 请某人帮忙
2. ask for/seek help 寻求帮助
3. come across some problems遇到一些问题
4. be faced with difficulties面对困难
5. have difficulty/trouble in doing sth.做某事有困难
6. plan to do sth计划做某事.
7. make preparations for sth.为……做准备
8. offer sb. a hand提供帮助
9 . offer some constructive guidance提供一些有建設性的指导
10. be grateful to sb. for sth.感谢某人某事
三、套用句式
1. I am writing to tell you something about my plan for ... and I also want you to do me a favor. 我写信告诉您一些关于我计划做……的事情,并想请您帮帮我。
2. Unfortunately, I find it really difficult to ... 不幸的是,我发现做……很困难。
3. Faced with the problems mentioned above, I am eager for your help, and would you please give me some advice on ... 面对上述问题,我真希望能得到您的帮助;您能给我一些关于……的建议吗?

本篇写的是李华写信向Ms Jenkins求助,希望她能指点一下自己如何写好申请书和个人简历。
1. written→writing 主语是I,主动发出动作,表明此时正在写信,用writing。
2. the→ a 因do sb. a favor 为固定搭配,意为“帮某人一个忙”,故the改为a。
3. experiences→experience 因这里指获得经验,experience意为“经验”时为不可数名词,故没有复数形式。
4. had→have 因本文为求助信,结合上下文此处时态应为一般现在时,故改成have。
5. are→is 因此处主语是this,且结合上下文时态应为一般现在时,故改成is。
6. or→and 因此处结合上下文应该是指作者既写了入职申请又写了个人简历,故改为and。
7. 在pay attention后加to 因pay attention to为固定搭配,且前有其宾语anything,故加to。
8. hope→hoping 因此处为伴随状语,且hope与其逻辑主语I 是主动关系,故用hoping。
9. much去掉 因very副词修饰形容词grateful,无需再加much,故将其去掉。
10. real→really 应该用副词修饰形容词thankful。
