McDonald's Each Nugget Has a Name

McDonald's has revealed that their Chicken McNuggets come in four different shapes -shattering①shatter 英 ['ʃætə] 美 ['ʃætɚ] vt. 粉碎；打碎；破坏；破掉；使散开vi. 粉碎；损坏；落叶n. 碎片；乱七八糟的状态the illusions②illusion 英 [ɪ'l(j)uːʒ(ə)n] 美 [ɪ'luʒn] n. 幻觉，错觉；错误的观念或信仰that the shapes are simply random③random 英 ['rændəm] 美 ['rændəm] adj. And a spokesman for the company has revealed the reasoning behind the varying shapes, explaining that they were designed deliberately④deliberately 美 [dɪ'lɪbərətli]adv. 故意地；谨慎地；慎重地and that each nugget⑤nugget 英 ['nʌgɪt] 美 ['nʌɡɪt] n. 天然金块，矿块；珍品actually has a name.

The crunchy⑥crunchy 英 ['krʌntʃɪ] 美 ['krʌntʃi] adj. 易碎的；发嘎吱嘎吱声的treats are known as either the "bell," the "boot," the "bone" and the "ball" although the nuggets seem to have slightly⑦slightly 英 ['slaɪtlɪ] 美 ['slaɪtli] adv. 些微地，轻微地；纤细地different names in different countries.

The spokesman explained: "The four shapes we make Chicken McNuggets in was the perfect equilibrium of dipability and fun."
