学情分析:

学生在小学时已经学过部分方位介词,在此基础上再学习几个新的,学生比较好掌握。

教学重难点:

Prepositions for position

教学过程:

Step1.Ask a few students to try to read the words on the screen,then the teacher corrects their pronunciations.

Step2. Lead-in:

Let students to point out the position of the soccer ball.(Show students the pictures on the screen)

Step3.Matching and listening

1.Work on 1a-1b.check the answers

2.Pair work

Make some conversations using the pictures on the screen.

Step4.Listening

1.Work on 2a.

2.Check the answer.

3.Work on 2b.(Listen and fill in the blanks)

Step5.Pair work

Ask students to ask and answer questions about the places in 1a on page 43.

Step6.Role-play

1.Ask the students to look at the conversation 2d.Then students read the conversation by themselves and try to find out difficulties and suspicious.

2.Role-play the conversation and answer the four questions.

3.Language points:

(1)How can I help you?=What can I do for you?

(2)Is there a bank around here?=Is there a bank near here?=Is there a bank in the neighborhood?

(3)be far from......离......远        be near to......离......近

Step7.Homework

1.Write down the new words in this class.

2.用今天所学介词来写几个句子,描述你周围建筑物的位置。

教学目标:

(2).there be 的一般疑问句及肯否回答

教学重难点:

there be 句型的一般疑问句及肯否回答,以where引导的特殊疑问句的构成

教学过程:

Step1.Lead-in and review

Let students talk about the positions of some students in the classroom.

Step2.Grammar Focus and revision.

1.Review the grammar box.Ask students to say the questions and answers.

2.Ask students to circle these words in the grammar box:on  across from  next to  between......and    in front of

3.Students read the sentences in the box again ,then fill in the blanks.(on the screen)

4.Students check the answers with their partners.

5.探究學习there be句型及用法(on the screen)

Step3.Practice

1.Look at 3a,pay attention to the questions in the box.Ask students to read them out loud.

2.Look at the map and answer the questions.

Step4.Practice

Look at 3b.Ask students to pay attention to the picture of 3a and write three sentences.

Step5.Exercise(on the screen)

Step6.Homework(on the screen)
