教学目标:通过本单元的学习,使学生熟练掌握以下内容.

1、掌握本单元的所有生词:backpack,dresser,table,bookcase,sofa, drawer,under,plant,chair,bed,book,key,pencil case,baseball,hat,math book,alarm book,video tape,computer game.

2、能够听懂听力部分的重要单词。

3、掌握本单元所涉及到的语法结构及句型:

①Where is my backpack?(一般疑问句)。

②where's the/my+单数名词?

③It's on the/under/in/the…

④Where are the/his+复数名词?

⑤They are on/under/in the…

⑥肯定句和否定句的回答。

4、掌握本文介詞的用法:on、in、under.

教学重点及难点:

1、where的用法及一般疑问句的使用。

2、语法:运用一般现在时。

3、学生自行描绘老师提供图片的内容,使学生对句型和语法有牢固的掌握。

教学内容:Tings around the house

课时安排:本单元分为3课时。共section A和section B和Self check 三个部分。section A 1课时,section B 1课时,Self check 1课时。

课堂教学设计

section A

1.帮助同学回忆以前学过的关于一般疑问句的相关句型,Whats this in English? Its a /an…, 利用该句型说出由where引导的一般疑问句,肯定句和否定句的回答。

2.将1a中的12个英语单词进行朗读熟记,熟记的方法老师可以为学生提供快速记忆法和词源法两个角度认读单词,将这table, bed, dresser , bookcase , sofa, backpack, books, keys, plant, chair, drawer, baseball 12个单词熟记。

3.将单词与图中物品匹配。(match the words with the things in the picture)。

其中该题目的答案为1-12分别为1e,2j,3c,4d,5i,6h,7g,8a,9b,10f,11l,12k.

4.1b部分为听力部分目的是巩固听力,进行系统性练习。

5. 1c部分为绝对活动部分,该部分的教学目的是利用方框里的单词编对话,提高学生的想象能力。这个部分我会讲到介词的用法,还会引申其它的常用的表示方位的介词。

On:在……上面。e.g.The dog is on the desk.

In: 在……里面。 e.g.My phone is in the backpack.

Under:在……下面。e.g. my keys are under the chair. 引申介词有beside和nest to,这里就不再举例子了。

6.我会在班级指出某个物品的位置,让同学指定其具体位置。我可以将该物体遮住一部分来让同学猜测,可以采用抢答的形式。

7.完成2b内容,即listen the record and number the things in the picture.

Ask and answer questions about the things in the picture,then listen again and accomplish the nest question.(2b)

8.对2c部分给出的例句,对房间里的任何物体进行问答练习。

e.g.Are the books on the sofa? No,they aren't.They are on the chair.

Is the computer game on the table? No,it isn't.It is on the bookcase.

Is the pencil case under the sofa? Yes,it is.

Grammar focus :掌握以下句型。

Where's the/my+单数名词?

It's on the/under/in/the…

Where are the/his+复数名词?

They are on/under/in the…

当询问某个物体在哪的时候可以使用,当物体的名词是单数时,用It's on the/under/in/the…回答,当物体的名词是复数时,用They are on/under/in the…来回答。

Section B

1a Match the words with the things in the picture.

答案为1b, 2d ,3a, 4e, 5f, 6c

2.1b Look at Tommy' s room for three minutes. Now close your books and write down all the things you remember.

e.g.math book bed bookcase books computer games clock and so on (The more, the better.)

3.1c Pair work

Student A, ask questions. Student B, keep your book closed.

e.g.—Wheres the notebook?

------Its on the bed.

4.2a Listen and circle the things Tommy wants from his room.

Book,pen,pencil,ruler,notebook,video cassette,computer games,math book.

5.2b Listen again.Where are Tommy s things? Write notes.

e.g.The math book is on the dresser.

The video cassette is on the table.

6.3a Read the note and draw the missing things in the picture.

Dear Sally,

Please take these things to your brother:his math book, baseball, notebook, CD, and video cassette.The math book is on the dresser.The baseball is under the bed.The notebook is next to the baseball under the bed.The CD are in the drawer.The video cassette is behind the computer.

7.3b Look at the picture and fill in the blanks.

Dear Tommy,

Can you bring some things to school? I need my hat, my ID card, my pencils, and my notebook.My hat is on the chair. My ID card is in the drawer.My pencils is under the book/in the pencil-box and my notbook are on the desk.

8.3c Pair work

Write a note to a friend asking for four things from your room. Say where they are.
