“立刻”的若干种表达方式

语中有很多词语可以表达“立即，立刻，马上的意思”。现将这些常见词语汇总如下：

1.at once ：立刻 ，立即，马上。与instantly 同意，比immediately意味强，且有“刻不容缓”之意。例如：

I cant solve the problem at once ，but can find answer to it from that book .我不能马上解决这个问题，但能从那本书理找到问题的答案。

As the case is a very urgent one ，the surgeon has to do the operation at once .因为是急诊，外科医生得立即进行手术。

If you keep breaking into my house，I will call the police at once .如果你总是要闯入我家的话，我立马报警。

2.in a moment ：立刻，马上。含有“一会儿，不久 ”之意，多用于告诉某人“你会很快做某事”之场合。例如：

I will lend you a magazine in a moment .我马上把杂志借给你。

3.in an instant ：立刻，马上。为书面语，其近义词接近于immediately ，也含有“毫不犹豫之意”。例如：

when the rain started the crowd vanished in an instant.下雨了，人群立即散尽。

The cloud disappeared in an instant. 乌云立即就散失了。

He made his mind to learn a foreign language in an instant.他毫不犹疑决定学门新语言。

4.in jig time ：立刻，马上，迅速的。此为美国口语。例如：

The tire was whipped off and changed in jig time.轮胎拆下来后马上换上了新的。

Why dont you learn ？its easy .you could learn in jig time .你们为什么不学呢？很容易的，马上就能学会的。

In jig time the leaves will have fallen from the trees， and the snow will cover the ground .树叶很快就要飘落，白雪将覆盖大地。

5.in no time ：立刻，马上，一转眼功夫。例如：

Mr.Smith will marry me in no time .史密斯先生马上就要娶我。

子围着桌子坐下来，食物立马就没有了。

6.like a shot ：立刻，马上。含有“飞快而毫不迟疑”之意常用于口语中。例如：

Of course Ill go like a shot if Im make you embarrassed .当然，如果我们使你尴尬的话，我可以立刻就走。

As soon as he heard the news ，he was off like a shot .他一听到这消息就立刻离开。

7.on the instant ：立刻，立即，马上。为书面语，含义接近immediately ，也含有“毫不犹豫”之意。例如：

Jack left for London on the instant .杰克马上前往伦敦。

We were ordered to kill that spy on the instant .我们得到命令立刻杀了那个间谍。

She turned and recognized her boyfriend on the instant .她转过身来，立刻认出了他的男朋友。

8.on/upon the moment ：立刻，马上例如：

They called me on the moment .他们立刻给我打电话。

He asked her to write a report on the moment .他要她立刻写一个报告。

When he heard the exciting news ，he burst into tears on the moment .听到那个令人激动的消息，他的眼睛立刻夺眶而出。

9.right away/off：马上 ，立刻，一下子。此为习语，强调“毫不犹豫，毫不耽搁地”。例如：

Im getting in touch with him right away. 我马上与他联系。

10.right now：立刻，馬上。常用于口语中。例如：

Tom will do that right now.汤姆马上去做那件事情。

I would go to my hometown right now.我将马上去我的家乡。

11.straight away﹨off：立刻，马上。强调“立刻或马上”，而且毫不犹豫，常用于口语中。例如：

Jack is at his office and will see you straight away.杰克在办公室并且马上见你。

He asked his father for the piano， but his father refused him straight away .他问他父亲借钢琴，但他父亲立马拒绝了。
