如何构筑“自主合作探究”式英语课堂

英语新课程标准积极倡导的自主、合作、探究的学习方式是这次课程改革的重点之一。改变学生的学习方式,由被动地接受学习,转变为主动地探究学习,改变学生学习过程与方式的根本目的是使学生学会学习。为适应新教育实验的理念,全面提高教育教学质量,构筑以学生为本的“自主合作探究”式英语课堂。下面以一个具体的“自主合作探究”式的英语课堂教学为例,分析Films and film events的Reading阅读课型。其教学过程如下:
Step 1 Lead-in and Discussion
T:(Show the students some pictures about the 78 Academy Awards on screen.)
Please appreciate these pictures about the 78 Academy Awards,and talk about them with your partners.
让学生再次观看一些图片,进行分组自由讨论,最后让学生表述图片传递的信息。这样,既让学生大胆地开口说英语,进行了口语表达,又让学生形成自主学习的能力,发展了他们学习英语的爱好。
Step 2 Presentation for Reading
T:Today were going to read a passage “Important Film Events around the World”.
You will know more about international film festivals.
Have a discussion with your partner to collect the answers to these questions:
(1)How many film festival representatives appeared on the show?
(2)Which film festivals are mentioned in the tran?
(3)At which festival are you not likely to find Hollywood film?
结合屏幕上的图片,提出讨论的话题,充分发挥学生的学习积极性、自主性和协作性,以此活跃课堂气氛,促使学生踊跃参加活动,为下面课文内容的学习奠定基础。
Step 3 Reading
(Teacher shows the questions on the screen,and the students begin to read the text.)
Read the text and then answer the following questions:
(1)How many film festival representatives appeared on the show?
(2)Which film festivals are mentioned in the tran?
(3)At which festival are you not likely to find Hollywood film?
(4)Why was the Cannes film festival started?
(5)What is the difference between the Cannes film festival and the Berlin film festival?
(6)What is the golden cup award?
(After reading,get the students discuss with their classmates first.)
采取先讨论、同学回答、老师补充的方式,能够让学生深入思考,领会本课的重点内容,充分体现教学中教师的引导作用和学生的主体地位,让学生学会学习、自主学习。
Step 4 Practice
1.Role-reading
T:7 students a group ,read this article together,one as a character in the dialogue.
分角色朗读训练,有效调动学生参与的积极性,同时降低课文通篇朗读的难度,使全体学生都能够参与活动,有助于提高学生学习英语的兴趣。
2.Finish the blanks according to the dialogue

The most famous (1)?摇 ?摇 a film,an actor or a (2)?摇 ?摇 can win is an Oscar.Yet,Oscars,or the academy awards,are often overlooked when people discuss film festivals.
The academy awards have a (3)?摇 ?摇 that is very different from other film festivals. (设计这一环节的目的是及时巩固上课所学内容,通过填词练习检测学生学习的情况,同时加深学生对课文内容的理解。)
教学反思:
1.利用课件及图片资源,充分发挥学生的学习积极性、自主性和协作性。让学生自主讨论,踊跃发表自己的意见,充分体现“以学生为本”的教学理念。
2.英语的课堂教学应当以用为主,树立一种“大英语教学观”,让英语教学走出课堂,走一条“开放”与“搞活”之路。现在的英语课堂教学提高了对学生语言应用能力的要求,要求教师由单纯传授语言知识转变为对学生语言实践能力的培养。
3.传统的教学方法容易使学生失去学习兴趣,而且不能体现语言的生动性,所以教师要丰富教学方法,刺激学生的不同兴奋点,抑制大脑疲劳。这种教学设计克服了传统的教师讲、学生记的弊病,学生在教师引导下学会思考,学会分析,学会发现,学会表达,真正发挥学生的主体作用和教师的主导作用,课堂上能做到全面提高学生的英语能力,通过师生、生生交流合作、探究,能取得很好的教学效果。
4.学生普遍对这种上课形式表示欢迎,培养了他们学习英语的爱好,完全认识到其不同于普通的教学课堂教学。课堂应当是学堂,是学生学习的天堂,应充分发挥学生积极性,让英语真正“活”起来,全方位开发学生潜能。
