有些朋友认为莴笋叶味道苦,就把莴笋叶丢弃不吃,其实莴笋叶的营养远远高于莴笋茎,叶比其茎所含胡萝卜素高出72倍多,维生素B1是2倍,维生素B2是5倍,维生素C是3倍。此外,经常咳嗽的朋友,多吃莴笋叶还可平喘止咳(据《家庭好医生》)
