问路和指路是我们日常生活中常遇到的再普通不过的事。会不会用英语问路和指路，关键在于有没有掌握问路和指路方面的短语和句型。

◆问路常用短语

1. Excuse me. “打扰了，对不起，请原谅”。

Excuse me可用于向陌生人询问方向、时间以及其他事情。例如：

Excuse me. Where is the post office? 劳驾，请问邮局在哪儿？

2. the way to… “去……的路”。

the way to结构中way是名词，意思是“路途，路线”。介词to表示方向，后接名词；如果后面接here, there或home时，则不用to。例如：

Lets ask the policeman the way to the museum.

我们向那位警察打听一下去博物馆的路吧。

I dont think we can find our way there. 我想我们找不到去那里的路。

◆问路常用句型

当我们用英语向别人问路时，可以用一般疑问句提问，也可用特殊疑问句提问。常用的表达方式有：

Is there a hospital near here? 这儿附近有医院吗？

Could you tell me the way to the police station? 你能告诉我去警察局的路吗？

How can I get to the History Museum, please? 请问，我怎样才能找到去历史博物馆的路？

Where is the Blue Sky Hotel? 蓝天大酒店在哪儿？

Which is the way to the park, please? 请问，哪条路是去公园的？

◆指路常用句型

◇当别人向你问路，并且你知道这条路时，可以根据实际情况用下面的句子来指路：

The post office is between the factory and the hotel. 邮局在工厂和旅馆之间。

Its next to the Zhongshan Park. 它在中山公园隔壁。

Youd better take number 92 bus. 你最好乘92路车。

Its about ten minutes walk. 步行大约要十分钟。

Its about 700 metres from here. 离这儿大约有700米。

Walk along the road, and take the third turning on the left.

沿着这条路走，在第三个拐弯处向左拐。

◇当你不知道这条路时，可用下面的句子来答复对方：

Sorry, I dont know. Im new here, too. 对不起，我不知道。我也是刚到这儿的。

Im sorry, Im not sure. Youd better ask the policeman over there.

对不起，我不能确定，你最好问那边的警察。

◇当别人为你指路时，你要用Thank you very much./Thanks a lot. 等话语表示感谢。

当你请求别人帮助，但对方由于某种原因无法帮助你而表示歉意时，你应该礼貌地说一声：Thank you all the same. 仍然要谢谢你。
