From Nov.11 to Nov.12, 2004, the Journey of Masters in China for the Exchanges of Four Cuisines made its first show in Yantai.
Food is of primary importance and flavors constitute its essence. China’s food culture is like a colorful scroll that embodies the historical sediments of thousands of years and flavors of different regions. Masters of the Guangdong Cuisine, the Sichuan Cuisine, the Huaiyang Cuisine and the Lu Cuisine who participated in this activity not only brought delicacies from different places but also showed their boundless passion for food and incessant pursuit for the art of cookery. Apart from being a feast for tastes, this exchange activity was more of the communication of hearts and the interaction of culture and art.
