Delegation from the Three Parties in the Assembly of Turkmenistan Visiting Chongqing

土库曼斯坦议会三党代表团访渝

On February 27 and 28， a delegation from the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan， the Agrarian Party of Turkmenistan， and the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan led by Ata Serdarow， Chairman of the Democratic Party， visited Chongqing. Li Mingqing， Deputy Secretary of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee， met with Ata Serdarow and his delegation.

Li Mingqing introduced Chongqings socio-economic development， highlighting the positive results achieved by Chongqing during its full implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinpings important instructions and the guiding principles from the 20th CPC National Congress， and its modernization drive of New Chongqing. The long-standing friendship between China and Turkmenistan has laid a solid foundation for the exchange and cooperation between Chongqing and Turkmenistan. The Deputy Secretary hoped that Chongqing would explore the potential for further cooperation and widen the range of collaboration between Chongqing and Turkmenistan in domains， such as friendly exchanges， connectivity， bilateral trade， industrial cooperation， and cultural exchanges. He believed all these endeavors of Chongqing would elevate the China-Turkmenistan comprehensive strategic partnership to a new height.

Ata Serdarow noted that， under the guidance of the CPC， Chongqing had witnessed prosperous socio-economic development， improved the quality of residents lives， and made impressive achievements. He expected closer cooperation with Chongqing in fields， such as trade， exhibitions， and culture， to secure more fruitful results.

In Chongqing， the delegation visited Chongqing International Logistics Hub Park， Lijia Smart Park， and Tongluo Mountain Mine Park in Yubei District. They learned about the vivid experience and practices of Chongqing in realms， such as connectivity infrastructure， smart city， and ecological conservation. They also expressed their intentions to enhance exchanges and cooperation with Chongqing in the above domains.

2月27日至28日，由土庫曼斯坦民主党主席谢尔达罗夫率领的该国民主党、农业党、工业家和企业家党代表团一行访渝。市委副书记李明清会见了谢尔达罗夫一行。

李明清介绍了重庆经济社会发展情况，尤其是重庆全面贯彻落实习近平总书记重要指示和党的二十大精神、建设现代化新重庆取得的积极成效。他说，中土友好交往源远流长，重庆与土库曼斯坦交流合作基础良好，希望以代表团此访为契机，在两地友好交往、互联互通、双边贸易、产业合作、人文交流等方面进一步挖掘合作潜力、拓宽合作领域，为推动中土全面战略伙伴关系迈上新台阶作出重庆贡献。

谢尔达罗夫说，在中国共产党的领导下，重庆经济社会蓬勃发展，人民生活更有品质，取得的成就令人印象深刻。愿在经贸、展会、人文等领域与重庆进一步加强合作，取得更加丰硕的成果。

在渝期间，代表团分别参访了重庆国际物流枢纽园区、礼嘉智慧公园、渝北区铜锣山矿山公园，实地了解重庆在互联互通基础设施、智慧城市、生态文明建设等领域的生动经验做法，并表示愿与重庆在上述领域加强交流合作。

István Szabó， Governor of Pest County， Hungary， Visiting Chongqing

匈牙利佩斯州州长萨博·伊斯特万访渝

From February 29 to March 1， István Szabó， Governor of Pest County， Hungary， a sister city of Chongqing， led a delegation to visit Chongqing. Zhang Guozhi， Vice Mayor of Chongqing Municipal Government， met with István Szabó and his delegation.

Zhang Guozhi noted that， in recent years， Chongqing had carried out practical and friendly cooperation with Hungary—including Pest County—at national and sub-national levels and frequent high-level exchanges guided by several important consensuses made by the two heads of state. The Vice Mayor also highlighted the solid implementation of joint corridor development and trade cooperation based on the China-Europe Railway Express， and the increasing people-to-people exchanges. She expressed her hope to see more interaction between both sides and seek common development by leveraging convenient transportation facilities， such as direct flights and trains.

István Szabó mentioned that the long-standing friendship between Pest County and Chongqing is crucial in deepening the bilateral cooperation between Hungary and China. During this visit， the delegation had a deeper understanding of Chongqings latest socio-economic development and its competitive industries， such as automobiles. They looked forward to deeper friendly exchanges and practical cooperation between the two sides.

In Chongqing， István Szabó and his delegation visited Changan Automobiles factory in Liangjiang New Area and the global R&D center. They exchanged detailed ideas with the head of Europe Business Unit， Changan Automobile on encouraging cooperative intentions between Hungary and Chongqing in processes， such as manufacturing， sales， and brand development of new energy vehicles. Besides， the delegation introduced the investment environments and relevant policies of Pest County and the rest of Hungary. They also visited local cultural tourist attractions including Chongqing Planning Exhibition Gallery.

2月29日至3月1日，重慶友好城市匈牙利佩斯州州长萨博·伊斯特万率团访问重庆。市政府副市长张国智会见了萨博·伊斯特万一行。

张国智表示，近年来，重庆市在中匈两国元首达成的系列重要共识指引下，与佩斯州在内的匈牙利国家及地方开展了务实友好合作，高层往来密切，围绕中欧班列展开的通道共建与经贸合作扎实推进，人文交流热络。希望未来两地用好直航、直达班列等便利条件，增进互动，共谋发展。

萨博表示，佩斯州与重庆市一直保持着友好关系，对深化匈中双边合作有着重要意义。代表团通过此行，对重庆最新经济社会发展情况及汽车等优势产业有了更深入的了解，希望两地未来继续深化友好交流与务实合作。

在渝期间，萨博一行参访了长安汽车两江工厂以及全球研发中心，与长安汽车欧洲项目部负责人就促进匈牙利与重庆在新能源汽车制造、销售、品牌发展等环节的合作意向深入交换意见，并就佩斯州及匈牙利的投资环境和相关政策展开了交流。此外，还参观了重庆市规划展览馆等特色人文景观。

Consulate-General of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Chongqing Holding a Reception for the 76th Anniversary of the Independence Day of Myanmar in Chongqing

缅甸驻重庆总领事馆在渝举办缅甸独立76周年招待会

On February 27， the Consulate-General of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Chongqing held a reception for the 76th Anniversary of Independence Day of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Chongqing. Zhao Shiqing， Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Chongqing Municipal Peoples Congress， was invited and delivered a speech.

Zhao Shiqing underscored that China and Myanmar， linked by mountains and rivers， enjoy a profound “Pauk-Phaw” friendship. During President Xi Jinpings historic visit to Myanmar in 2020， the two sides agreed to build a China-Myanmar community with a shared future. This year marks the 70th anniversary of China， Myanmar， and India jointly advocating the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence. Chongqing will implement the guiding principles from the Central Conference on Work Relating to Foreign Affairs， practice the Principle of Amity， Sincerity， Mutual Benefit and Inclusiveness in Neighborhood Diplomacy， and deepen cooperation and pursue tangible progress in building a China-Myanmar community with a shared future.

Thwin Htet Lin， Consul-General of Myanmar in Chongqing， extended his gratitude for all the support and care given by Chongqing to the Consulate-General of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Chongqing. The Consul-General summarized and reviewed Myanmars key exchanges and cooperation with Chongqing Municipality and Sichuan Province in 2023. He also expected further collaborative efforts to yield more fruitful results from Myanmars friendly exchanges and cooperation with Chongqing Municipality and Sichuan Province.

2月27日，緬甸驻重庆总领事馆在渝举办缅甸联邦共和国独立76周年招待会，市人大常委会副主任赵世庆应邀出席并致辞。

赵世庆表示，中缅两国山水相连，胞波情深。习近平主席2020年历史性访缅，双方一致同意构建中缅命运共同体。今年是中缅印共同倡导和平共处五项原则70周年。重庆将贯彻落实中央外事工作会议精神，践行亲诚惠容周边外交理念，为中缅命运共同体建设走深走实贡献力量。

缅甸驻重庆总领事敦特林感谢重庆市长期以来对缅甸驻重庆总领事馆工作的支持与关心，总结回顾了2023年缅甸与重庆市、四川省之间的重要交流合作情况，表示将继续与重庆市、四川省等共同努力，让友好交流合作成果更加丰富。

In early March， Wang Wen， Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal Government （Chongqing FAO）， met with André Haspels， Ambassador of the Netherlands to China， and his delegation. They shared ideas on deeper exchanges and cooperation between Chongqing and the Netherlands in various domains.

Wang Wen bid André Haspels a warm welcome for his first visit to Chongqing and introduced its socio-economic development. She stated that Chongqing is the only centrally-administered municipality in Central and Western China， and plays a unique and crucial role in Chinas dynamics of regional development and opening-up. Major national strategies assigned Chongqing significant missions and tasks and gave a strong impetus to the socio-economic development， including the development of the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-Hub Mega-Region and the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor. The Netherlands is an important trading partner of Chongqing in Europe. The two sides have carried out successful exchanges and cooperation in various domains， such as trade， logistics， agriculture， environmental protection， and culture. These efforts have paved a solid foundation for further cooperation. Chongqing is willing to facilitate personnel exchanges with the Netherlands in different fields to enhance practical and friendly exchanges and cooperation in realms including trade， agriculture， education， and culture. All these endeavors will contribute to the development of an open and pragmatic partnership for comprehensive cooperation between China and the Netherlands.

André Haspels said that the Netherlands highly values the exchanges and cooperation with Chongqing. The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in China is looking forward to stronger connections and interaction with the Chongqing Municipal Government and various industries， and deeper cooperation in domains， such as trade， circular economy， logistics， and agriculture.

3月初，市政府外辦主任王雯会见了到访的荷兰驻华大使昊使博一行，就深化重庆与荷兰各领域交往合作交换意见。

王雯向昊使博首次访渝表示欢迎，并向其介绍了重庆经济社会发展情况。她表示，重庆是中国中西部地区唯一的直辖市，在国家区域发展和对外开放格局中具有独特而重要的作用。成渝地区双城经济圈建设、西部陆海新通道建设等重大国家战略赋予重庆重要使命任务，为经济社会发展注入强大动能。荷兰是重庆在欧洲地区重要合作伙伴，双方在经贸、物流、农业、环保、文化等诸多领域开展了卓有成效的交流与合作，合作基础良好。愿与荷方继续密切各领域人员往来，加强在经贸、农业、教育、文化等领域务实友好交流与合作，为中荷开放务实的全面合作伙伴关系发展作出贡献。

昊使博表示，荷兰重视与重庆的交往与合作，荷兰驻华大使馆希望与重庆市政府及各领域加强联系与互动，共同深化在商贸、循环经济、物流、农业等领域合作。

Zhongxian County， Chongqing Signing a Memorandum of Cooperation with Sisak-Moslavina County， Croatia

重庆忠县与克罗地亚锡萨克·莫斯拉维纳郡签订合作备忘录

On February 27， the 15th EU-China High-Level Seminar on Regional Policy Cooperation took place in Taicang， Jiangsu Province. Over 100 government officials， experts， and scholars from the European Union， various European countries and regions， and China gathered to discuss issues of global attention， such as sustainable urban development and regional cooperation.

Zhongxian County， Chongqing， as one of the Chinese exemplary cities for the International Urban and Regional Cooperation Programme （IURC）， was invited to attend the seminar and signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Sisak-Moslavina County， the Republic of Croatia to enhance in-depth cooperation in domains such as culture， tourism， and e-sports.

Located in Central Croatia， Sisak-Moslavina County prospers in cutting-edge technology， electronics， and pharmacy. It has completed the “Sisak Moslavina County—A Center of Gaming Industry” initiative. Signing the Memorandum of Cooperation will greatly drive the high-quality development of culture， tourism， and e-sports in Zhongxian County. This effort will further broaden channels for introducing foreign investment， and foreign companies are expected to be more willing to invest with greater confidence in Zhongxian County.

2月27日，第15屆中欧区域政策合作高级别研讨会在江苏省太仓市举行。来自欧盟、欧洲多国和中国的逾百名政府官员、专家学者齐聚一堂，探讨全球最为关注的城市可持续发展和区域合作等议题。

重庆忠县作为欧盟国际城市与区域合作项目的中方案例城市之一，应邀出席此次会议，并与克罗地亚共和国的锡萨克·莫斯拉维纳郡签订合作备忘录，加强双方在文旅、电竞等领域的深度合作。

锡萨克·莫斯拉维纳郡地处克罗地亚中部，该郡在尖端技术、电子和制药领域蓬勃发展，目前已建成游戏产业中心项目。此次签约将极大助推忠县文旅及电竞产业高质量发展，进一步拓宽引进外资渠道，有效增强外资企业来忠投资意愿和信心。
