你有过迷路的经历吗？一个人到了国外，人生地不熟，在去目的地的途中，用英语问路在所难免。不知道如何用英语问路的同学别慌，今天就来给你支支招。

情景对话

Conversation 1

A： Excuse me！ Can you tell me the way to the nearest public toilet？

B： Go straight ahead at the traffic lights and then turn right. Walk past the park， and keep going straight until you see the sign of public toilet.

A： Great， thank you.

B： Youre welcome.

Conversation 2

A： Excuse me！ Could you please tell me if there is a hospital near here？

C： Yes， theres one near here. Its on Fifth Avenue.

A： Sorry， I dont know how to get to Fifth Avenue.

C： Go along this road， turn left at the second traffic lights and go straight for two blocks. You can find the hospital.

A： By the way， how far is it from here to the hospital？

C： Its about 5 kilometers.

A： Its a bit far on foot. Is there any other way to get there？

C： You can go there by bus.

A： How long does it take to get there？

C： About 15 minutes.

A： OK， Ill take the bus.

C： Theres a bus stop across from the street.

A： Thank you.

C： Dont mention it.

B：一直向前走到红绿灯处，然后向右转。走过公园，一直往前走，直到你看到公共厕所的标志。

A：不好意思，我不知道怎么去第五大街。

C：沿着这条路走，在第二个红绿灯处左转，然后再走过两个街区，你就能找到医院了。

A：顺便问一下，从这到医院大概有多远呢？

C：大概5千米。

A：走路的话有点远，还有其他的交通方式去那里吗？

C：你可以坐公交车过去。

A：大概要花多长时间？

C：大概要花15分钟。

A：好的，那就坐公交车吧。

C：街道对面就有一个公交车站台。

A：谢谢你。

C：别客气。

Tips

1. 如何问路

Can you tell me the way to...？ 你能告诉我去……的路吗？

How can I get to...？ 我要怎么样去……？

Could you please tell me if there is...？ 请问附近是否有……？

2. 詢问距离

How far is it from here to...？ 从这到……有多远？

How long does it take to get there？ 到那儿要花多长时间？

3. 如何指路

Go straight ahead along the street and then turn right/ left. 沿着这条大街往前走，然后右/左转。

Take No. 18 bus， and get off at the Peoples Square. 乘坐18路公交车，在人民广场站下车。

Its on Fifth Avenue. 它在第五大街。

It takes about 5 minutes to get there. 到那儿大约要花5分钟。
