英语求职信的写作技巧

求职信，也称为应聘信，是指求职应聘人员向有关招聘单位、公司等申请某一职位的专用书信，是高中英语应用文写作的常见类型之一，也是高考英语书面表达一大考查热点。那么，如何写好英语求职信呢？对此，笔者提出了几点写作策略，以期对同学们有所帮助。

【写作实例】

假如你是李华，是名中学生，你从网上看到《考试与评价》杂志正在招聘学生记者。下面为你的基本情况，请根据此内容向《考试与评价》杂志写一封求职信。内容如下：（1）爱好特长：唱英文歌、看英文小说和绘画，擅长英语写作和电脑;（2）相关经历：曾为学校校报工作三年;（3）获奖情况：2019年在江苏市英语竞赛中获得第一名。

【写作步骤】

通过审题可知，该书面表达要求写一封求职信。在写作时要注意把握如下写作步骤：

第一步，自我介绍，点出身份，并简要说明获得信息的来源。结合题干，常用句型则有：①I have read in Internet that student journalists is wanted in your maga- zine.（我从网络上看到贵杂志社需要招聘学生记者。）②I learned from the Internet that your magazine needs hire student journalists.（我从网络上得知贵杂志社需要招聘学生记者。）

第二步，开门见山提出申請，表明求职意愿等。常用句型有：①I’m writing to apply to join your team.（我写信申请加入你们的团队。）②I’m  really interest- ed in this position and hope I can work for you.（我对这个职位很感兴趣，希望能为你们工作。）

第三步，陈述应聘条件，包括工作经历、爱好特长、获奖情况等，摆出自身的求职优势，字里行间要洋溢着自信与活力，让招聘者对你产生浓厚兴趣，从而增强求职说服力。结合写作内容，可以这样表达：I have worked for our school newspaper for three years. I like singing English songs， reading English novels and painting. I’m good at English writing and computers. AfterclassIoftenmakedialogues，playgamesandsing songs. Two year ago， I won the first prize in the English completion of the city of Nanjing.此外，常用句型还可以有：①I have strong written and spoken communication skills.（我有很强的书面和口头沟通能力。）②I have team work spirit and can get on well with other people.（我有团队精神，善于与他人相处。）

第四步，表达感激之情，请求对方给予机会，并期待尽快答复。常用句型有：①I sincerely hope that my application could be favorably considered.（我真诚地希望我的申请能被优先考虑。）②I would appreciate it very much if you could give me the opportunity.（如果你能给我这个机会，我将感激不尽。）③I would be grateful if I could be given the job.（如果我能得到这份工作，我将不胜感激。）④Looking forward to your ear- ly reply.（盼望能够早日得到您的回复。）

I’m Li Hua，a middle school student. I know from the Internet that your magazine needs student journalists. I’m really interested in this position. I am applying to join your team.

I have worked for our school newspaper for three years. I like singing English songs， reading English novels and painting. I’m good at English writing and computers. 总之，英语求职信写作难度并不大，只要同学们明确写作要求、写作步骤和写作内容，掌握常用句型，并适当加强训练，写作时自然就能得心应手。
