——新版人教版高中英语教材必修一 Unit 3 复习课设计

目前,我国的教学改革和高考改革正在逐步深入推进。如何使用新教材授课和复习备考成为教师面临的一个全新的课题。对广大的英语教师来说,复习课是一种非常有挑战性的课型。如果教师把学生已经学过的知识再讲一遍,学生听起来就会觉得索然寡味。如果不带领学生再复习一遍所学的内容,教师又会担心学生的知识掌握得不扎实,很可能在考试过程中失分。那么,教师如何设计复习课才能取得理想的教学效果呢?下面笔者以新版人教版高中英语教材必修一Unit 3 为例,谈谈复习课的设计。
一、教材与学情分析
本单元的话题是“sports and fitness”。通过阅读关于著名的女排教练郎平和有“飞人”之称的美国篮球运动员迈克尔·乔丹的人生故事,使学生了解一些体坛精英的趣事和体育精神。写作部分提供的一篇阅读材料GOING POSITIVE 讲述了作者从一开始努力减肥到后来积极投身于体育锻炼的健身经历,旨在引导学生养成健康的生活方式,学会健康生活。本节复习课的内容包括:基础词汇和短语、特殊结构和句式、单元语法、课文和写作五项。
授课的对象是新入校的高一学生,授课的任务是在讲授完必修一Unit 3 的新课后,对本单元进行复习。
二、教学目标
鉴于高考严格坚持“知识为基,能力为重,素养导向,价值引领”的命题立意,以考查考生综合语言运用能力为目标,因此本节复习课的教学目标应与高考的命题导向保持高度一致。本节复习课的教学目标是通过以练代讲,在各种英语练习活动中,夯实学生的基础知识,发展学生的语言能力,使学生能够运用所学知识进行交际活动,在教学活动中培养其英语学科核心素养,以及正确的人生观和价值观。
三、教学设计与意图
(一)基础词汇和短语的复习

【设计意图】
英语单词是构成语言的最小单位,也是英语学习的基础,因此英语教学应重视词汇教学。教师应坚持“词不离句,句不离文”的原则,应致力于为学生创设交际情境,避免让学生孤零零地记忆单词,使他们能够在语境中正确使用单词和短语。通过设计单词变形、选单词并用其适当形式填空的练习来提升学生的语言能力。
(二)特殊结构和句式练习

【设计意图】
本单元的语法项目为反义疑问句(Tag Questions)。通过让学生做上面的练习题,帮助他们掌握常见的反义疑问句的用法。练习题的话题与体育锻炼相关,这不仅丰富了单元的主题词汇,而且潜移默化地影响着学生,发挥了语言教学“立德树人”的功能。
(四)课文复习

本单元的课文是两篇文章,分别介绍了著名的中国女排教练郎平和有“飞人”之称的美国篮球运动员迈克尔·乔丹。笔者设计了三个活动来复习课文:首先,把学过的课文改编成语法填空试题,通过让学生完成语法填空练习,使学生既熟悉了课文的内容,又复习了文中出现的词汇和句式;其次,布置让学生完成表格的任务,让学生从课文中提取关于郎平和乔丹的主要信息;最后,要求学生根据图片的提示,结合课文内容,总结人物介绍类文章应包括的几个要素,使学生掌握人物介绍类文章的结构特点和写作方法,做到触类旁通。同时,要求学生根据图片复述郎平和乔丹的故事,把语言知识内化为语言能力。
(五)写作练习
1.分析写作范例的篇章结构特点和写作方法

2.概括同类文章的写作方法
教师可引导学生总结健身经历类文章的写作框架。如下图所示,全文由三段组成:第一段讲述自己过去的经历;第二段讲述个人生活发生的各种变化;最后一段讲述自己的人生感悟。这为学生进行写作练习提供了切实可行的方法,使他们有可参考的写作框架和模板,从而降低了写作的难度。
3.进行限时写作训练
教师可在分析写作范例的篇章结构和写作方法的基础上,围绕单元主题,设计写作练习题,让学生进行仿写,体现出学以致用和教学创新的理念。书面表达练习题如下:
某英文报的“学生园地”栏目目前正在开展征稿活动,邀请同学们分享自己参加体育锻炼的经历。你打算参加这个活动,请写一篇短文。内容包括:
1.你参加的体育项目;
2.你的生活发生的变化;
3.你的感悟。
注意:1.词数100 左右;
2.可适当增加细节,以使行文连贯。
One possible version:
I remember there was a time when I got sick easily.When the weather changed suddenly,I would get a bad cold and headache.Taking medicine was a part of my life,which made me weak and annoyed.
When I went to hospital,the doctor told me that I should take physical exercise regularly to boost my immune system.Since then I have made it a habit to jog in the park near my home.I also play sports with my classmates in my spare time.Gradually my health has improved and I feel much better.

本单元的写作任务是记述作者本人开展健身活动的经历(Write a page in a wellness book)。突出了单元主题“sports and fitness”。本环节有三个教学任务:一是引导学生分析写作范例GOING POSITIVE 的框架结构和写作特点;二是引导学生总结同类文章的结构特点和写法方法。三是为学生提供一篇同体裁的写作练习,引导学生分享自己从事体育锻炼的经历,鼓励学生培养健康的生活方式。
4.分析写作范例的篇章结构特点
作者用第一人称讲述了自己从减肥到积极锻炼,培养健康的生活方式的经历。第一段讲述自己过去采取的各种消极的做法:羡慕电视上身材苗条的模特,开始拼命减肥→吃低脂食物→气得要发疯。第二段讲述作者的人生态度发生变化:关注健康而不是体重→关注体育锻炼的运动量→尽情享受美食。最后一段是作者的感悟:人生态度的变化使她的心情也发生了相应的变化。她不再担心自己的体重,也不再与人攀比身材。现在的她既健康又快乐。因此本文的标题为GOING POSITIVE。
四、教学材料的组织
复习课的教学素材主要来源于教材。在设计复习课时,教师应使其涵盖学生所学的课文、词汇和短语、教材中出现的知识点、单元语法和写作五个项目。同时,应围绕单元主题“sports and fitness”,挖掘网络资源,适当拓展知识。
总之,在新课改背景下,教师应坚持用《普通高中英语课程标准(2017 年版2020 年修订)》倡导的教学理念引领教学设计,充分发挥学生的主体作用。在课堂上,教师应尽量减少单一的语言知识讲解,而是以练代讲,为学生创造使用英语进行交流的情景,注重培养学生的语言能力。此外,教师应灵活处理教材,积极开发网络教学资源,围绕单元主题设计教学活动,创建师生之间有意义的交流。更重要的是,教师要精选教学例句,使复习内容与单元主题高度一致,引导学生养成健康的生活方式,使其学会健康生活。这样做能够大大提升学生的英语学科核心素养,为他们今后的全面发展打下良好的基础。
