Two Changes of “Polonius” 饰演波洛涅斯带来的两次转变

I am Guo Jiabo， an outgoing student who loves drama very much. In this play Hamlet， I performed the role of a minister whose name was Polonius. He was very gloomy. “Polonius”on the stage took the king a piece of good news， and acted on the contents of the envelope.

Although “Polonius Guo”only appeared three times， there were many lines and actions. Everyone treated this performance carefully during our rehearsal. As the saying goes， one minute on the stage and ten years of practice off the stage. I also gained “CHANGE”from this special experience.

In the process of acting the play， we shared laugh. There was a scene of laughter. Every time I laughed， I could not help but feel my laughter， and I felt so embarrassed that this affected my group members. We had to restart it. At that time， other classes rehearsed at least twice. I suddenly felt ashamed even though they were very patient to me. I became a boy who could think for others. Finally， we rehearsed the play twice successfully before the official performance. I gained the first “CHANGE”from the drama rehearsal-to be considerable.

In addition to acting our characters， we faced another challenge. When the formal performance began， we hurried to change our costumes because our clothes were shared with other ESL classes. Then we had to wait for other actors after they finished their performance. I felt like giving up wearing the certain costume many times. However， I was moved by the words from our ESL teacher， “Don't worry， I will assist you all the time.”The second “CHANGE”of me appeared and I began to have team spirit and sense of collective honor. I waited for my role costume patiently and wore it to the stage. Our performance was eventually accomplished smoothly and got the third prize. It was wonderful that we were encouraged by teachers and classmates. There is nothing more gratifying to me than I can participate in this kind of performance again.
