The Mosquito And The Lion

打败了大狮子的蚊子，却成了小蜘蛛的俘虏，原因何在呢？蚊子因为暂时的胜利，丧失了清醒的头脑，以致自投罗网。如果胜利后的蚊子能认清自己的短处，小心谨慎，就能避免“被蜘蛛网粘住”的悲剧。在生活中，同学们也要时刻提醒自己，不骄傲，不懈怠。让我们一起欣赏来自江苏省如东县丰利镇丰利小学的同学们带来的精彩表演吧！

（It is a hot day. A lion is sleeping under a tree. A mosquito passes by and wants to have fun. So he buzzes around the lions head.）

Mosquito： ZZZ ... ZZZ ...

Lion： Uh ... Who is making that noise？

Mosquito： Its me， a mosquito.

Lion： A mosquito？ Stop bothering me and go away. Im sleeping.

Mosquito： I dont want to go away. I like playing here. ZZZ ... ZZZ ...

Lion： Im warning you. Go away before I get mad.

Mosquito： I dont care. I am not afraid of you.

Lion： What？ You are not afraid of me， the king of animals？ You are so small！

Mosquito： I am small， but I am fast. I can also fly， can you？

Lion： I cant fly. But Im the strongest among all the animals！

Mosquito： Catch me then.

（The lion tries to catch the mosquito， but fails.）

Mosquito： You cant catch me. So I am stronger than you.

Lion： A little insect like you？ Thats nonsense（胡说）.

Mosquito： Size is not important. You cant catch me. But I can chase you away.

Lion： You？ Chase me away？ Thats impossible.

Mosquito： Do you want to make a bet？

Lion： Why not？ But how will you chase me away？

Mosquito： Youll find out.

Lion： I didnt feel bad. You are no match for me. Go away and let me sleep.

Mosquito： No way！

（This time， the mosquito bites the lions ears， back and head.）

Lion： Uh... Little mosquito， its no use. Just give up.

Mosquito： No！ Stay right here. Ill call my friends.

Lion： It still wont work.

Mosquito： Lets wait and see.

（A moment later， ZZZ ... ZZZ ... ZZZ ... ZZZ ...）

Lion： Whats that noise？ Oh my goodness！ There are so many mosquitoes coming to me！

Lion： Ouch， ouch！ That stings（刺痛）. Stop！ Stop！ That hurts.

Mosquito： Keep attacking. Hell give up soon.

Lion： Ouch！ I cant stand（忍受） it anymore. Stop！ I give up！

（The lion runs far far away from the mosquitoes. The little mosquito feels so good that he keeps flying around. But he doesnt see a spider web just ahead ...）

Mosquito： What is it？ I am tripping over（絆倒） something！

Spider： I am coming， my little mosquito. You look so delicious.

（The mosquito is stuck firmly and becomes the spiders lunch.）
