The Basilica of the Holy Family is the most iconic landmark of Barcelona. The stained-glass windows in the Basilica of the Holy Family are colourful and crystal clear when the morning light streams in.

The Gothic Quarter in the center of Barcelona is a wonderful place to take a casual walk. There are many museums, shops and restaurants nearby.Inside the Gothic Quarter you can find the oldest parts of Barcelona. There are ancient Roman walls and the remains of a temple.

In the evenings, many locals and tourists come to watch the magic fountain show. There are colourful lights and music included.

The Picasso Museum is a nice choice to see the paintings of Spanish artist Pablo Picasso. More than 3500 of his artworks are on permanent display in the museum.

Every year in February or March, Barcelona has a big celebration called Carnival. There are thousands of people on the streets with colourful costumes. The Carnival celebration attracts many university students. The traditional cuisine,dancing and parades provide a lot ofentertainment.
