English Teacher: “Do you understand singular and plural forms now?”
Scott: “Yes, I do.”
English Teacher: “Tell me, what form is ‘pants’, singular or plural?”
Scott: “It’s singular on the top half and plural on the bottom half.”

The Shortest Composition最短的作文
A teacher asked his students to watch a TV series at home,and write an article about it. The second day, Scott handed in a composition with only two words, “ Power outage.” The teacher asked him to watch another season at night and write another article. The following day, Scott handed in another composition with five words, “The TV set doesn’t work.”
老师要同学们晚上在家里看一集电视剧，然后写一篇观后感。第二天，斯科特交了一篇作文，上面只有两个字：“停电。”老师叫他晚上看第二集后再写一篇。第二天，斯科特又交了一篇作文，上面有5个字：“电视机坏了。”

The professor continued, “Very good. Now I have a new example for my lecture! My book hasn’t been published yet!”
