每个人都是一部史诗,当我们长大成人后,是否还记得我们成长的点点滴滴,成长过程中的欣喜和悲伤。每个人不能活在过去,但却不能忘记过去。让我们在本单元中寻找我们逝去的时光。

学习重难点:

1.一般过去时的特殊疑问句及一般疑问句的使用

2.能用一般过去时介绍自己的生平经历,及周围朋友偶像的故事

学习过程

课前:

激活思维,自主预习

(推开一扇窗,你会看见满眼的绿色!)

预习教材,自主学习探新知,完成单词与短语。

课中:

激发情感,引发求知

(不依附,不从众,让思想成为习惯!)

Step1:Warm up and Lead in.

1.Free talk: Listen to an old song.

2.Guessing game

3.Work in pairs, Introduce yourself.

Eg. Where were you born? When were you born? What were you like?

Step2: Listening

1.The first listening. Listen and number the questions as you hear them.

a) Who was your first teacher? __

b) What was your first school like? __

c) Where were you born? __

d) Was she strict? __

2.The second listening. Listen again and check with ( T )or(F ).

1) Betty was born in the US.

2) Betty was born in a small town.

3) Bettys first school was a big school.

4) There were twenty-two students in Bettys class.

5) Bettys first teacher was strict.

Step3:listen and read

Listen and answer

1. Was Lingling born in Xucun?

2. Was Tonys first school called Darwin Primary School?

3. Was his teachers name Mrs Smith?

4. Was Ms Yao very friendly?

5. Were Becky and Adam Tonys friends?

1.Read after the flash, and pay attention to your pronunciation.

2.Read by yourselves and then read in your group.

Try to recite the conversation. One is Tony, the other is Lingling.

Tell the rest of the class about your past life. Lets cherish the memories of youth.

What was your favourite subject?

Step 6:Summary

Homework

Do a survey about your family or friends, then write a passage to describe their past life.
