On computers
Dear Editor, Im writing to tell you how us use computers in our daily lives. Most of us use computers to search for more information about the interesting problems on the textbooks, about Iraqi wars and about Oscar. Some of us use computers to do some drawings, to make up interesting flashes. And some of us use them to play games. If we are tired and want to take a short rest, playing games for a while is OK. But its forbidden that we spend hours and hours on the games. There is also someone using computers to talk with people in the Internet and even falling in love with him or her. The Internet is not a real world and we cant tell lies from truths. So falling in love with somebody on the Internet is not safe and is bad for our study. We should keep ourselves out of it. Thats all I know. Good luck!Yours truly, Li Hua

Buildings in Tianjin
In Tianjin, there are many buildings of bygone times. Some of them are imposing and have great artistic and historic value. However, these buildings do mot fit in well with each other, because most of them were built by foreigners in different times. The traffic in the city is not very convenient. The street are usually narrow and twisted. If the government wanted to have them widened, a large number of buildings would have to be pulled down. Some buildings are too old and are nothing more than cottages, and in place of them, some new high buildings have been set up. However, the new ones are still few and in many places they seem quite out of place.
Yet those Western-style buildings give Tianjin a different characteristic from other cities and those new ones lend the city fresh vitality which will spread rapidly with the reform going on.
