介绍某个人的情况，即为人物介绍。在学习、工作和生活中，常常要介绍、推销自己或宣传他人，这都需要作人物介绍。

写人物介绍，首先要全面了解这个人，然后根据需要选取写作内容。简明扼要且突出重点地去介绍，力求真实准确，恰如其分。人物介绍一般包括出生年月、主要经历、事迹成就和影响与评价等内容。人物介绍往往是从外形到性格，或从一般经历到创造性的贡献，最后常有结论性的评语。写人物介绍的英语作文时，经常会用到以下词汇：
