Different countries have different traditional diet and sports.Do you know anything about traditional British diet and sports?

The food in the UK is very different from Chinese food.It has traditionally been based on beef,mutton,pork,chicken and fish and generally served with potatoes and another vegetable.The most common and typical foods eaten in England include sandwiches,fish and chips,pies like the Cornish pasty(康沃尔馅饼),trifle(屈莱弗甜食)and roasts dinners.An English traditional breakfast consists of eggs,bacon,sausages,fried bread and mushrooms with a cup of coffee.However,a typical English breakfast nowadays is more likely to be a bowl of cereals,a slice of toast,orange juice and a cup of coffee.In Britain,there are many local people loving to drink.British Scotch whisky has a long history and is very famous in the world.

The people in the UK are very keen on sports.Golf is very popular in this country.It is regarded as the hometown of golf and the country has hundreds of world-class golf stadiums.Another sport people love very much is football.The English Premier League(英超联赛)is always considered as the best league in the world and Scottish Premier League(苏格兰超级联赛)is also quite successful.
