1 草图/Sketches

项目位于伊犁河谷边一座20m高的高台上，面向宽广而苍凉的大地。草图起始于对场地的思考，在自然中限定一个平台即成为一个建筑，平台产生了边界，与远处的地平线建立了一种联系，这不同于在纯自然中看到的地平线，平台限定了一个场所，同时又与大地的无限产生了对话。这一最初的草图观照建筑与场地最本质的关系，成为该建筑后来一切操作的出发点。□

The site is located in Yili, Xinjiang and lies on a 20-metre-high plateau looking over the wide desolating earth. The sketch was completed in the beginning of the project. It illustrates our understanding of the site. Within the abstracted scene, a traight solid line cuts of the nature and platform start to emerge at the bottom. The platform defnes an artifcal boundary and implicates the front horizon. Through the sketch, the infnitness of the site and formal construction questioned the most profound essence of nature, resulting in our later design from this concept.□
