Well, today is not so special but not ordinary at all.
After half a days interesting study, we went to visit extinct volcano which is really an excellent view to take pictures of the whole Auckland city. BRAVO! Then we went to Mission Bay near our host family, which is one of the most famous beach resort in Auckland. We picked up some colourful seashells for “decoration”. After appreciating the beautiful sightseeing,we went home.
I saw Emma was cooking in the kitchen.Emma is a French girl at the age of 16. She came to New Zealand for further study 2 months ago and is living in the same host family as us. I am interested in cooking so much that I went to the kitchen to have a look. Emma was making Turkey meatball in the way taught by her mother. I didnt think she was a born cook until I tasted the delicious Turkey meatball. What an ingenious girl!I was so attracted by her that I spent 4 hours talking with her. The more we communicated, the more I learnt from her. She has not only made great progress in her studies in science but also taken good care of herself in daily life abroad.
From now on, I must try my best to study harder and be more independent for the sake of my bright future!
